The sports industry has been included in the 14th Five-Year Plan from 2020.Although the rapid development of China’s sports industry was greatly affected by Covid-19 pandemic,it still has a strong potential for development.As two indispensable parts of the sports industry,the development of sports events and events copyright need to be paid with more attention.Compared with the mature experience of competition copyright development in foreign countries,domestic enterprises are still in the initial stage of competition copyright development.Some enterprises that acquire high-quality competition copyright at a high price sometimes suffer losses due to improper development.Therefore,it is of great value to study the copyright development from the competition manager.Now is a period of rapid development of domestic road running events.At the same time,domestic enterprises are also experiencing the later stage of copyright fever in the international sports market.The copyright development of new types of international road running events such as Spartan Race deserve more attention.In this context,this paper,from the perspective of Spartan Race event managers,uses the stakeholder theory to take the copyright development of the event as the process of maximizing the interests of the stakeholders of the event.First of all,needs of enterprises to analyze its purpose and Spartan Race event stakeholders of copyright,with all Spartan Race event managers as investigation object,through the literature material law,expert interview,and questionnaire investigation to collect managers view of Spartan Race event copyright development,determined the 26 impact indicators from 5 dimensions of Spartan Race copyright development.Secondly,this paper calculates the weight coefficient of relevant dimensions and indicators through mathematical statistics,so as to realize the construction of the index system.Finally,this paper analyzes the stakeholders,content and index system of the copyright development of Spartan Race based on the actual situation summarized by the method of literature and field research,and concludes and summarizes the influencing factors and feasible measures of copyright development of Spartan Race.According to the research of this paper:Firstly,the stakeholders in the copyright development process of Spartan Race include media,host organization,local government,the event owner,participants,audience and sponsors.The enterprise is in the leading position of the copyright development of Spartan Race,and the enterprise that buys the copyright has the right to decide Spartan Race’ copyright development.This paper obtains the whole process and content of copyright development of Spartan Race from the perspective of the event manager.Secondly,the author obtained 26 indicators from 5 dimensions of Spartan Race copyright development through expert interviews and used principal component analysis and factor analysis to get the potential relationship between each dimension and each indicator,so as to understand the relationship among stakeholders of Spartan Race copyright development from micro to macro perspectives.Thirdly,according to the results of field research and mathematical analysis,it is concluded that the indicators and dimensions of the copyright development of Spartan Race are interrelated,the value development of the copyright content is unbalanced,and the games themselves are the key points of the development of Spartan Race.In view of the above findings,this paper puts forward following suggestions.Firstly,based on the overall situation of the event,stakeholders should be identified in the development process of event copyright so as to achieve close relations among stakeholders to give full play to their roles and promote the development of the event.Secondly,coordinate the content of copyright development and highlight the value of the event in all aspects in terms of sponsorship rights,commercial development rights,media broadcasting rights and ticket sales rights in order to realize the diversification of revenue sources of the event.Thirdly,clarify the focus of interests,return to the event itself for in-depth excavation and finally achieve better development of the Spartan Race event.
