Since the implementation of my country’s "universal two-child" policy in 2016,the willingness to have a second child has always been a concern for everyone.Note topic. After the seventh census in 2020 and the release of population data, this topic has once again attracted widespread attention, and people continue to pay attention to the topic of fertility willingness. What is different from the past is that after the implementation of the three-child birth policy in 2021 Many scholars have shifted their focus from the second child to the third child or even more children. The willingness to have three children mainly refers to the willingness of the childbearing age group to have a third child, including whether they want to have a third child or not.Gender and timing wishes for having a third child.Since 2016,scholars’ research on my country’s fertility intentions has mainly focused on cities with a high level of economic development, and less research has been done on small cities and even rural areas in underdeveloped areas.region, its contribution to the birth of three children cannot be ignored. Therefore, after investigating and understanding the overall fertility situation in Qujiang District,Shaoguan City,my hometown, the author chooses to issue questionnaires in townships,in order to analyze the fertility willingness and related influencing factors of couples of childbearing age in rural areas.A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed in this survey, and 272 questionnaires were effectively returned. The main content of this paper includes the following three parts: First,a brief introduction to the economic development of Qujiang District,Shaoguan CityIt analyzes the changes in rural population growth in Qujiang District, sorts out the fertility policies in recent years, and accesses the Guangdong Provincial Population Information System to export the corresponding data by consulting the Qujiang Yearbook data over the years and logging in to the authoritative website. The data of birth population, marriage registration data and childbearing age distribution of rural population in Qujiang District in recent years were obtained through other means, and a preliminary understanding of the fertility situation of rural population in Qujiang District was obtained.Second,by distributing questionnaires in townships(villages)to understand the fertility status of the rural childbearing age population in Qujiang District, including the willingness to have three children, the gender of the willingness to bear, and the time interval of the willingness to bear children.Third, using the binary logistic regression model to select nine factors such as gender, age, and educational background to analyze the degree of its influence on the willingness of rural families to have more children;fourth, combined with the results of the questionnaire survey and the actual conditions of Qujiang District To explore the internal reasons of the willingness to have three children in rural families of childbearing age.Fifth, combined with the reasons explored in the fourth part, put forward corresponding countermeasures. The survey results show that under the background of the national implementation of the three-child birth policy, the willingness of rural families to have three childrenNot strong. In general, men’s willingness to bear children is slightly higher than that of women, and the willingness to bear children of couples of childbearing age in rural areas is higher than that of couples of childbearing age living in big cities. As for the reasons for wishing to have three children, women consider more from the perspective of children, while men consider the opinions of their elders more;for the reasons for not wishing to have three children, women first consider economic factors, while men The factor of education is considered. Finally,in response to the above survey and analysis results, the author puts forward suggestions: first, support full employment nearby and ensure women’s employment rights;second, strengthen reproductive technology support and improve reproductive health services;third, promote the integration of urban and rural education, pay attention to Compulsory education in rural areas;fourth, strengthen social and cultural education, establish correct concept of marriage and childbirth, hope that the above suggestions can be adopted,to a certain extent, improve the willingness of rural families of childbearing age to have more children, and promote the long-term balanced development of the population in Qujiang District,so as to promote the coordinated development of economy, society and population in Qujiang District.
