Research On The Characteristics And Essence Of The Viet Cong’s Socialism Since The Reformation

Whether or not we can correctly understand the essence and characteristics of socialism has a bearing on the success or failure of socialist construction,and is also a major basic theoretical issue of scientific socialism.Marx,Engels,and Lenin have successively expounded on this issue in different eras and from different perspectives,laying the ideological foundation and theoretical source for the Communist Party of Vietnam to fully understand socialism.After the establishment of the socialist system in Vietnam,the Communist Party of Vietnam combined the basic tenets of Marxism with Vietnam’s specific national conditions,conducted theoretical explorations on socialism,and further deepened its understanding of the essence and characteristics of socialism.Since Vietnam carried out reform and opening up,on the basis of summing up the experience of socialist construction at home and abroad,the Communist Party of Vietnam has seriously considered what socialism is and how to build socialism,taken Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought as its guiding ideology,persisted in taking economic construction as the central task,regarded party building as an important task in socialist construction,continuously promoted the exploration of socialist theory and practice in Vietnam,opened up a socialist road with Vietnamese characteristics,and formed Vietnamese socialist theory.The formation and development of socialist theory in Vietnam is the result of the unremitting exploration of socialism theory by the Communist Party of Vietnam around the major theoretical issue of what is socialism and how to build socialism.Regarding the essence of socialism,the Communist Party of Vietnam believes that it is necessary to always adhere to economic construction as the center;develop socialist democratic politics;and achieve common prosperity.With regard to the characteristics of socialism,the Communist Party of Vietnam holds that the socialism built by the Vietnamese people is headed by the working people;that the economy is highly developed on the basis of modern productive forces and public ownership of the main means of production;that the culture is advanced and rich in national colors;that the people are freed from oppression,exploitation and injustice,that each does his best and distributes according to work,that there is a warm,free and happy life,and that there are conditions for the all-round development of the individual;and that all ethnic groups in the country are equal,united,mutually assisted and make common progress To maintain friendly and cooperative relations with all the peoples of the world.The Communist Party of Vietnam’s understanding of the essence and characteristics of socialism has undergone a process from shallow to deep,and the successive congresses of the Communist Party of Vietnam have also continuously developed and improved their understanding of the essence and characteristics of socialism.The process of understanding the essence and characteristics of socialism by the Communist Party of Vietnam embodies the dialectical unity of productive forces and production relations,the unity of basic values and the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam,and the unity of contradictions in universality and particularity.The Vietnamese Communist Party’s understanding of the essence and characteristics of socialism has undergone a process of development from universal to special,from commonality to individuality.Practice is endless,and theoretical innovation is also endless.The Communist Party of Vietnam is still in the stage of initial exploration of the essence and characteristics of socialism,and with the continuous development of socialist practice in Vietnam,the understanding of the essence and characteristics of socialism by the Communist Party of Vietnam is also deepening.
