Research On The Process And Enlightenment Of Building A Well-off Society Since The Reform And Opening Up

A well-off society is the beautiful yearning and long-cherished wish of the Chinese nation.More than2,000 years ago,the ideal state of a well-off society was depicted in the Book of Songs and the Book of Rites.Since its establishment,the Communist Party of China(CPC)has shouldered the original intention and responsibility of working for the happiness of the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and is determined to let the people live a happy and beautiful life.After hard and tenacious struggle and continuous exploration,according to the principles of scientific socialism,combined with the actual situation in China,out of a modernization with Chinese characteristics of the road of construction.In the late 1970 s and early 1980 s,Deng Xiaoping proposed the strategic concept of "well-off society" when planning the blueprint of China’s economic and social development,and interpreted Chinese modernization in terms of "well-off".Thus,the well-off society has become an eye-catching roadmap on the road to modernization.The top-level design of the well-off society has gone from "well-off house" to "well-off society",from "well-off in general" to "well-off in all aspects",and from "building a well-off society in all aspects" to "well-off in all aspects".From "overall well-off" to "overall well-off",from "comprehensive construction" to "comprehensive completion",the goal of well-off has been achieved continuously,and finally the dream of well-off has become a reality.It has gone through three stages in the course of construction and development.First,the stage of overall well-off,on the basis of the problem of food and clothing has been solved,gradually achieve the social goal of overall well-off;second,the stage of building a well-off society,from incomplete,low level of well-off began to move into the comprehensive construction of well-off;third fully built a well-off society stage.After the strategic goal of building a well-off society is achieved,the CPC Central Committee will lead the Chinese people in a new long march to the next goal.The rich practical experience of building a well-off society is a valuable asset for the CPC to lead the Chinese people to forge ahead to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Since the reform and opening up,after more than 40 years of hard work and struggle,the great goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects was achieved in 2020 as scheduled.This is a key step in the journey to realize the construction of a modernized socialist power,and has important insights for the new journey.First,modernization must adhere to the ideological line of seeking truth from facts.Everything from the practical,from the world,national and party conditions,with the times and constantly open up innovation,in different historical periods to set different milestones and tasks and hard struggle,to ensure that each milestone is achieved as scheduled.We must respect the objective laws of social development and advance modernization in a gradual and orderly manner.We must adhere to the problem-oriented approach and focus on overcoming the major difficulties at each stage.Targeted strategic deployments for outstanding issues that arise at different times and steady and solid progress can be made in order to move forward on the road of modernization.Second,we are required to always adhere to the leadership of the Party and insist on the CPC as the strong leading core of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.Adhering to the leadership of the CPC will escort the socialist modernization construction,ensure the correct political direction,make the correct deployment for the socialist modernization construction,and indicate the direction and goal for the socialist modernization construction to move forward.The cause of socialist modernization requires not only a strong leadership core,but also a group of exemplary pioneers,who are at the forefront of modernization and lead the whole country with one heart and one mind to compose a great chapter of socialist modernization.Third,we must adhere to the people-oriented.Development for the people,dependent on the people.Socialist modernization should give full play to the subjective role of the people,and fully mobilize the people’s enthusiasm and historical creation to build socialist modernization.Fourth,adhere to the comprehensive development.Modernization is based on material development,and must adhere to the development and liberation of the productive forces as the primary task,adhere to the coordinated and comprehensive development of all aspects,adhere to the construction of ecological civilization throughout the process,to ensure the sustainable development of the Chinese nation.
