Research On The Ideological And Political Education Function Of Taihang Spirit

The spirit of Taihang was born during the period of anti-Japanese resistance and salvation,and is the revolutionary spirit forged in the blood of the Chinese Communist Party as it led the Eighth Route Army and the Taihang people in their fierce struggle with the Japanese invaders.The victory of the war against Japan was not only a victory for the Chinese nation,but also a victory for the great Taihang spirit.In May 2020,when Comrade Xi Jinping visited Shanxi,he once again said that the spirit of Taihang must be carried forward,and that the spirit of Taihang must be renewed in the new era.In May 2020,during his visit to Shanxi,Comrade Xi Jinping once again said that the spirit of Taihang must be carried forward and sung anew in the new era.The 12 th Party Congress of Shanxi also clearly proposed to turn the rich red cultural resources into new competitive advantages and to achieve the beautiful vision of building a strong cultural province in 2035.Today,we are once again holding on to the baton of the spirit of Taihang,firmly committed to our original intention and striving to write a new chapter in the development of Shanxi.This thesis consists of five parts.The first introductory chapter sets out the purpose and significance of this chosen topic,a review of domestic and international research,the content and methodology of the study,and the difficulties and innovations of this study.The second chapter elaborates the relevant concepts.Firstly,it analyses the formation and development of the Taihang spirit,its main forms,basic characteristics and contemporary values.Secondly,the link between the Taihang spirit and ideological and political education is analysed from the perspective of the resource theory and the mediation theory of ideological and political education.The third chapter analyses the functions of the Taihang spirit in ideological and political education,looking at the individual and social functions of the Taihang spirit and the powerful role it can play for individuals and society respectively.The fourth chapter analyses the opportunities and dilemmas of the ideological and political education function of the Taihang spirit.At present,the introduction of the strategy of strengthening the country through culture,the rapid economic development and the vigorous promotion of the study of the "Four Histories" have all brought new opportunities for the ideological and political education function of the Taihang spirit,but the development process has inevitably encountered bottlenecks,including a weak awareness of heritage,insufficient excavation efforts,a lack of environmental atmosphere and a lack of professional talents.On the basis of the previous chapter,Chapter 5 proposes development countermeasures to the current situation of bringing into play the ideological and political education function of the Taihang spirit.Through the three aspects of strengthening the value guidance of Taixing Spirit,enhancing the exploitation of Taixing Spirit resources and optimising the ideological and political education team of Taixing Spirit,the ideological and political education effect of Taixing Spirit is optimised.
