The Working-Class Anti-Poverty Theory Of Marx

The working-class anti-poverty theory of Marx was formed by examining the real problem of poverty in capitalist society and based on critical studies of previous theories.After having gone through three main stages of development,this theory is the causes,future trends and solution paths of working-class poverty,and still has important guiding significance for poverty governance in the world at the present.The birth of the working-class,the severe polarization between the rich and the poor and the escalation of conflicts between the two major classes made poverty a social reality that could not be ignored.Marx inherited and developed classical German philosophy,classical British political economy and the doctrine of British and French ideal socialism,explored and examined the problem of working-class poverty in the context of the real economic movement,then pointed out the causes,trends and solutions to poverty.Marx believed that the capitalist state system,incomplete social mechanisms,and the lack of individual capabilities were the reasons of the working-class poverty.Under the combined effect of these factors,the working-class is bound to impoverish itself.Therefore,Marx pointed out that in order to escape from poverty,so it must relies on the workers’ and peasants’ alliance to overthrow the capitalist system as the fundamental cause of poverty by means of violent revolution.Meanwhile,it is necessary to develop the social productive forces and improve social institutions to promote equity to circumvent the general causes of poverty,but also to arm the minds of the working class and promote the professional skills of workers to overcome the direct causes of poverty by combining education and productive labor.From the perspective of anti-poverty theory of the working-class of Marx,we can find that China and the West have achieved very different results in poverty governance.China has promoted the anti-poverty process in the world,but the global poverty problem is still serious.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the sense of community to promote the anti-poverty process of all human beings,to strengthen the value guidance of anti-poverty theory of Marx,to firmly follow the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China,and to improve the institutional mechanism of relative poverty governance continuously.Adhere to the socialist system without hesitation,to improve the institutional mechanism of relative poverty governance,and to motivate the endogenous power of individuals continuously to help achieve anti-poverty.
