The tribute system, with ancient China as the central kingdom, radiated outward to educate the barbarians.Until the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the tribute system was China’s attitude toward its neighbors, and even the main form of diplomatic relations based on it.Since the reform and opening up,China’s economic strength, military power and international influence have been increasing.Today,as a rising power,China, unlike the tribute system, has a peaceful and friendly heart and a win-win cooperation approach, hoping to build an Asian community of destiny with neighboring countries in order to deal with various disputes and problems in the Asian region. However,in the current international arena dominated by Western countries, like United States, the Western country believe that China’s peaceful rise is just another form of power politics and hegemonism. It has nothing to do with peace,it is a gradual path to hegemony hidden under the mask of peace, and it is a reshaping of the ancient Chinese tribute system. Therefore, how to deal with this challenge has become an important issue in front of our diplomacy that needs to be solved.Ideas are the guide to action, and ideas guide practice.Based on the overall situation of the international community and regional cooperation, and focusing on the theme of the times of peace and development,Xi Jinping proposed the concept of building an"Asian community of destiny" from the perspective of top-level design, committed to drawing closer to the partnership with neighboring countries and Asian countries, and used the concept of "amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness" as the spiritual leadership in China’s diplomatic practice, showing China’s willingness to join hands with neighboring countries to move towards the Asian community with a shared future, adding bricks to the stability and development of the Asian region and contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions. This paper intends to explore the impossibility of its return and the possibility of building an Asian community with a shared future by applying the comparative study method to the dynastic system. At the same time,China’s entry point to promote the Asian community with a shared future is the "amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness" neighborhood diplomacy concept, deepening the strategic relationship with neighboring countries. As a condensed expression of traditional Chinese culture and Chinese diplomatic philosophy, each word of the "amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness" neighborhood diplomacy concept is significant. This paper will elaborate on the theoretical origins of "amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness" and use case studies to explore how China has put into practice the concept of "amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness" in its neighboring diplomacy and the efforts it has made.Specifically, this paper argues that China’s assistance to Bangladesh,China’s implementation of infrastructure and industrial construction in the CPEC,China’s construction of the CAFTA with ASEAN,and the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations are four concrete examples that correspond to the China’s concept of neighborhood diplomacy, and are examples of China’s commitment to never claim hegemony and firmly maintain peace in its neighborhood. The concept of "amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness" in China’s neighborhood diplomacy has created a stable and upward neighborhood environment for China in both ideological guidance and policy practice, and paved a feasible path toward an Asian community with a shared future, which is what the Asian people aspire to.
