| The disappearing demographic dividend and pension pressure force China to need new labor, but the reality is that China’s fertility rate continues to decline, and the social fertility desire continues to be depressed. In order to change this situation, the country has not only put forward the "comprehensive two-child policy",but also continued to promote the "comprehensive three-child policy" with little effect. The urgent demand for the newborn population has gradually turned the relevant research to the discussion of fertility rate and fertility intention. Most of the domestic and international discussions on fertility intention focus on the influencing factors. This study attempts to summarize most of the existing fertility influencing factors through fertility cost, and use it as an intermediary variable to study the mechanism of work-family conflict affecting fertility intention of professional women of childbearing age,and hopes to find the correlation between the three, improve the fertility intention of professional women of childbearing age,and finally achieve the goal of improving the fertility rate of the whole society.Based on this, with the purpose of studying the impact of work-family conflict on the fertility intention of working women of childbearing age, this paper has read and sorted out the relevant studies on work-family conflict, fertility cost and fertility intention, and combined with relevant theories, constructed a research model. After distributing 230 questionnaires,217 were collected,of which a total of 210 were available for analysis after excluding invalid questionnaires.Correlation and regression analysis were conducted on various variables, and in-depth interviews were conducted with 15 research subjects to verify the hypothesis and draw the conclusion of this study.(1)There is a significant negative correlation between work-family conflict and the fertility intention of women of childbearing age.The greater the work-family conflict, the lower the fertility intention of women of childbearing age.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between work-family conflict and fertility costs. When work-family conflict intensifies, fertility costs will increase.(3)There is a significant negative correlation between the fertility cost and the fertility desire of the working women of childbearing age.The higher the fertility cost, the lower the fertility desire of the working women of childbearing age.(4)Fertility costs plays a part of the mesmeric effect between work family conflict and childbearing willingness of professional women of childbearing age.On the basis of the research hypothesis, the issue and reasons of the impact of work family conflict and changes in various dimensions of fertility costs on fertility intention were analyzed. The main reasons for the problems are the lack of anti-employment discrimination laws and regulations, the lack of a childcare system, the lack of public policies issued by the government and the provision of public welfare, and the lack of positive publicity on childbirth through the internet and social media. Finally,in response to the above conclusions,in order to better enhance the fertility willingness of career women of childbearing age, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed from the perspectives of the government and society.By providing legal and social support to better protect the employment environment for professional women, accelerating the establishment of anti-employment discrimination laws, and actively safeguarding the rights and interests of professional women;Establishing a public childcare service system;Increase the supply of welfare for childbirth, where maternity benefits are no longer limited to subsidies and expenses for childbirth, but should cover subsidies related to childbirth such as housing and education; The government and society actively guide and promote fertility intentions and behaviors, breaking the reproductive crisis shaped by public opinion. |
