In recent years,with the constant exposure of sexual harassment incidents,different victims have increasingly entered the public view.In addition to the stereotyped working women,there are also working men,college students,children and other victim groups.Due to the concealment of sexual harassment and the insufficient attention paid to the sexual harassment of children in China,the sexual harassment of children in public view is only the tip of the iceberg of the actual incident.However,the children who encounter sexual harassment show a worse psychological state,which seriously affects the healthy growth and development of children and is detrimental to the harmonious development of society.Therefore,it is very important to improve the girls’ ability to prevent sexual harassment.Ethnic minority girls are constrained by the local social and cultural conservative atmosphere,lack of public attention,weak teachers,low parents’ cultural quality and vigilance,and low overall education level.Their ability to prevent sexual harassment is weaker,so it is more necessary to do a good job in prevention education.Through questionnaire,interview and participatory observation,this paper investigates the ability of preventing sexual harassment of senior ethnic minority girls in Grade 5 and grade 6 of school C in Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County,Guangxi.First of all,through the investigation,it is found that the senior ethnic minority students in school C generally lack the ability to prevent sexual harassment,their cognitive level of sexual harassment is not high,and their response to sexual harassment is poor.Social work intervention has advantages and compatibility in improving the ability of this group to prevent sexual harassment.Secondly,further analysis shows that it is more urgent to improve the ability to prevent sexual harassment of ethnic minority girls in school C.Finally,according to the universality of the lack of ability to prevent sexual harassment of ethnic minority girls in Senior Grade C school and the similarity of their needs,the author decided to use the group work method to intervene.The author systematically recruited senior ethnic minority girls as members of the group and conducted a pre-test of their ability to prevent sexual harassment.Based on this,the author designed a group work plan and launched a preventive education group named "bud protection".The study found that through group work,the cognitive level of sexual harassment and the ability to prevent sexual harassment of ethnic minority girls in school C were improved.Based on the reflection on the practical process and results of the group work,combined with the reasons for the lack of ability of ethnic minority girls to prevent sexual harassment,the author puts forward suggestions from the perspective of social work from the four aspects of family,school,society and local culture: that is,according to the needs of the case owner,it is better to use the integrated social work method to intervene,integrate the existing local service resources to maximize the service effect,and combine the Dong and other ethnic minority cultures to Multi dimensional intervention in schools and society can effectively improve the ability of ethnic minority girls to prevent sexual harassment.
