Dongming County Rural Habitat Management Study

Improving the living environment is an important element of the "ecological livability" in the rural revitalization strategy.With the continuous development of society and economy,people’s demand for a better life is gradually increasing,and under the current situation in China,the rural areas are still the places with the most prominent conflicts and the most onerous tasks.How to improve the rural habitat in a classified and orderly manner and in a sustainable and effective manner is an important link in the field of the three rural areas and a realistic problem that needs to be solved by governments at all levels.This thesis takes Dongming County in Shandong Province as the research object,takes the rural habitat environment as the research content,with the help of literature analysis method,field research method and interview method,and uses theories such as multiple co-governance,demand hierarchy and sustainable development as the theoretical basis,through analysing the problems of rural habitat environment management in Dongming County,and putting forward specific countermeasures for this purpose.The first part introduces the background,purpose and significance of the study on rural habitat environment,followed by an analysis of the current situation of domestic and international research,a review of domestic and international references in terms of theories,problems and countermeasures of rural habitat environment,and a summary of the insights of domestic and international scholars on rural habitat environment.The second part is to define the concepts and theories related to rural habitat environment.The third part is to introduce the current situation of the rural habitat environment in Dongming County,collect data and information related to the habitat environment in Dongming County through questionnaire surveys and interview methods,and outline the basic situation of the management of the rural habitat environment in Dongming County.The fourth part is to sort out the problems of rural habitat environment management in Dongming County,mainly focusing on the lack of awareness of the villagers,the single source of funds for management,the large difference between districts in the effectiveness of management,the inadequate management mechanism and the low level of management technology.The fifth part is to propose corresponding governance countermeasures based on the problems of rural habitat environment governance in Dongming County,mainly including enhancing villagers’ enthusiasm for governance,introducing capital from various parties through multiple channels,innovating governance models,establishing a sound governance mechanism,and improving governance technology according to local conditions.The sixth part is the conclusion of the study: Firstly,to build a governance model of multi-faceted governance,to mobilise the enthusiasm of governance subjects,to give full play to their strengths and to form a synergy;to advocate the concept of joint construction,joint governance and sharing,and to give full play to the subjectivity of villagers.Second,to strengthen the integration of funds,constantly improve the efficiency of the use of funds,and improve the return on investment of social capital.Third,to establish a sound governance mechanism,in order to consolidate the results achieved in rural habitat management,it is necessary to continuously provide an effective social supervision mechanism,a long-term management and care mechanism,a villager participation mechanism and a digital supervision mechanism.
