Research On The Red Cultural Memory Construction Of The Revolutionary Memorial Hall

Memory is the basis for people to recall the past,confirm their identity and enhance identity.Red culture contains the historical practice and spiritual essence of the Communist Party of China(CPC)leading the people to fight bravely,reform and construction,and pursue great rejuvenation.Inheriting red culture well,strengthening the dissemination of red culture,and enhancing public recognition of red culture are important tasks for the development and construction culture of the CPC and national in the new era.The revolutionary memorial hall is an important medium for storing and presenting the red cultural memory.It not only interprets the development process of revolutionary history to the public,but also expands the dimension of historical narration and constructs a historical performance scene in a spatial sense.Based on memory theory and museum narrative theory,this article takes the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the CPC as a research case,using case study,participatory observation,interviews,and text analysis methods,starting from the spatial presentation of the memorial hall and the memory practice of the audience,to analyze the path and mechanism of the red cultural memory construction in the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the CPC.The study found that,on the one hand,the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the CPC based on historical logic,under the guidance of achievement narrative and the blessing of aesthetic narrative,has built an imaginative physical space with the help of architectural landscape,exhibition display and atmosphere.On the other hand,the audience integrates the scene with the presence of the body,and forms interaction and dialogue with the symbolic system of the memorial through the memory practice of photography,message,consumption,listening to the explanation and participating in the ceremony within the limited framework of the memorial,generating the red cultural memory and realizing the internalization of information and value.Through the study of a large memorial hall,the mechanism of the revolutionary memorial hall for the generation of red cultural memory includes three levels: first,the memorial hall and the audience have the same symbolic order system,which provides the basis for memory activation;Secondly,the memorial hall creates an infectious concrete space for the audience,and the audience completes the transition from physical participation to spiritual experience in the physical practice,forming spiritual resonance;Finally,in the contemporary awakening of past memories and their own "negotiated decoding" of the memorial hall,visitors form identity,establish a sense of consciousness,and assume the responsibility of inheriting and disseminating red culture.The research believes that the construction of the red cultural memory of the revolutionary memorial hall not only requires the use of multidimensional narration,but also the construction of a red cultural memory chain from history to the present,from fact to value;At the same time,it is necessary to create multiple interactive carriers to stimulate the initiative of the memory subject,in order to achieve the era value of red cultural memory.
