With the continuous development of society,the gradual improvement of people’s living standards and the continuous increase of per capita disposable income,people pay more attention to their appearance,which has greatly promoted the development of China’s medical cosmetology industry.Due to the increasing audience of medical cosmetology service,and the shortage of plastic surgeons who meet the requirements,the market presents an unbalanced state of supply and demand.With the rapid expansion of the medical cosmetology market,complaints related to medical cosmetology are also on the rise.Negative public opinions such as false publicity,illegal medical practice,induced consumption,and induced medical cosmetology loans cast a shadow on the medical cosmetology industry,bringing huge challenges to the government supervision of the medical cosmetology industry in Xining,and the industry supervision is in urgent need of strengthening.This paper studies the topic of government regulation of the medical cosmetology service industry in Xining City,and uses the theory of information asymmetry and collaborative governance to discuss the existing problems of government regulation of the medical cosmetology industry in Xining City.Through case analysis,it can be known that,The lagging laws and regulations on the basis of supervision in Xining City,the lack of quantitative standards in the supervision of service quality,the lack of multi-department coordination mechanism,the weak supervision and law enforcement force and the absence of third-party supervision have led to many problems in the government supervision of the medical cosmetology industry in Xining City.In order to make the medical cosmetology industry develop in an orderly way and protect the health rights and interests of consumers,at the same time,learn from the advanced experience of other regions,set service quality standards,strengthen the supervision of service quality,improve the supervision of medical cosmetology advertising,increase penalties,increase illegal costs,strengthen the supervision of medicine and equipment,promote the multi-department joint supervision mechanism,and expand the team of health law enforcement personnel.While ensuring the rapid development of the industry,the government supervision of the medical cosmetology industry in Xining can also be improved simultaneously.
