Study On The Function Of Ideological And Political Education Of Red Films In The New Era

“Literature and art are the clarion call for the advance of the Times.They can best represent the style of an era and lead the trend of an era”,General Secretary Xi Jinping once said.Since the new era,Chinese people’s demand of spiritual culture has greatly stimulated the development of red films and television industries.Red films record the birth and development of the Communist Party of China,the establishment of New China,reform and opening up,and the great achievements of the new era.This way of recording red films can become an effective basis for contemporary college students to understand history and trace their roots.Both red films and ideological and political education have the common purpose of guiding values and improving ideological and political quality.With the inheritance of the spiritual pedigree of the Communist Party of Chinese as the common educational content,and multi-level and wide-ranging audiences as their common objects,they have a high degree of compatibility.It can be said that by playing the function of ideological and political education,red films can help improve the ideological,political and moral qualities of college students and promote their all-round development.The ideological and political education function of red films is based on Marxist thought of moral education in literature and art,the cultivation theory of communication and the emotional identity theory of psychology.In practice,it plays the function of political guidance,cultural communication and publicity expansion for social groups,and it also plays the educational function of promoting patriotism,consolidating the educational function of ideals and beliefs,improving the educational function of moral level and enhancing the aesthetic entertainment function for social individuals.This paper selects eight undergraduate universities in Ningxia as the survey objects,and questionnaire survey and interview were conducted.The research showed that :on the one hand,because red films deepens the patriotism of college students,shape their own excellent quality,and broaden the channels for college students to learn historical knowledge,students generally agree that red films are integrated into the ideological and political education of colleges and universities in Ningxia,hoping to improve the ideological,political and moral quality through red films are strong;On the other hand,the development of red films are still not perfect,colleges and universities do not pay high attention to red films into the ideological and political education of college students,teachers insufficient guidance and other problems,Ningxia colleges and universities red films ideological and political education is still insufficient.The main reasons for the existing problems focus on the unclear positioning of red films and the tendency of commercialization,colleges and universities do not pay enough attention to the use of red films to improve the function of ideological and political education of college students,and college teachers do not have rich forms of red films integration.Based on this,we expect red films to develop well.Clear positioning,discard the factors that are not conducive to their own development,colleges and universities should strengthen the emphasis on red films,improve the infrastructure of facilities and equipment;Teachers should constantly improve their comprehensive quality and teaching ability and level,and make good use of red films resources.Of course,as the main body of learning,students should constantly improve their cognition of red films to achieve education and self-education.In a word,using red films to promote ideological and political education of college students,we need to give full play to the role of red films,school leavers,teachers and college students,and jointly serve the educational goal of promoting the all-round development of college students.
