| Marxism hold the view that "Young people are an important driving force in the process of social change." Guangdong and Hong Kong youth are also important forces influencing the development of China’s youth movement.Since its founding,the CPC has attached great importance to youth work,paying particular attention to the youth groups in Guangdong and Hong Kong,and through the establishment of youth league organizations and peripheral organizations,a broad pool of young people in Guangdong and Hong Kong.This paper,guided by Marx’s historical materialism and dialectical materialism,insists on the combination of macro and micro,theory and practice,uses the big historical view of thinking,based on the actual development of China’s youth movement,and studies the interactive relationship and value of Guangdong and Hong Kong youth movement in 1921-1927 from multiple perspectives.This study first explored the theoretical and historical origin of the rise of the youth movement in Guangdong and Hong Kong,which mainly clarified the theoretical,social and historical reasons for the rise of the youth movement in Guangdong and Hong Kong from the important discussions on youth and youth movement by Marxist classical writers,the Young Communist International and the early leaders of the Communist Party of China,as well as the interactive practice of the new education and new culture movement,the early Republic of China and the May Fourth period of the Guangdong and Hong Kong youth Movement.What’s more,it combed the early exploration of the youth movement in Guangdong and Hong Kong by the Communist Party of China.Focusing on the major events in Guangdong and Hong Kong,such as the Hong Kong Seamen’s Strike,"The First National Congress of the Chinese Socialist Youth League" and "The First National Laboring Congress ",this study explored the early promotion of the interaction of the youth movement between Guangdong and Hong Kong by the Communist Party of China in the period when the CPC was founded,and explains that soon after the founding of the CPC,the revolutionary vision will be shifted southward to pay attention to and promote the interaction of Guangdong and Hong Kong youth.In addition,this study systematically analyzed the CPC’s promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong youth movement to interactive grand coalition and its strategic characteristics under the Great Revolution situation.This paper mainly revealed the internal logic and law of the all-round interaction of Guangdong and Hong Kong youth from the aspects of the policy guidance of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to the youth movement,the interaction of Guangdong and Hong Kong youth to set off the general strike of Guangdong and Hong Kong,and the linkage of organization,publicity and action of Guangdong and Hong Kong youth groups to push the revolution to the climax.Finally,it further demonstrates the historical influence and practical enlightenment of the CPC’s leadership of Guangdong and Hong Kong youth from interaction to linkage.This paper mainly explained its important historical status and influence from the aspects of promoting the patriotic consciousness of young people in Guangdong and Hong Kong,expanding the revolutionary space in Guangdong and Hong Kong,correctly applying the "united front" to make important contributions to the Great Revolution,and laying an important foundation for Guangdong Provincial Party Committee move to Hong Kong to guide the revolution after the failure of the Great Revolution.This study play a vital role in and far-reaching practical value for the Communist Party of China in the new era to care for and guide the youth of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,create an organizational platform and publicity system suitable for the linkage of youth work in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,comprehensively build a united front for the youth of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,gather the strength of the youth of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,and promote the construction of the Greater Bay Area to achieve the great cause of national rejuvenation. |
