In Hong Kong and Taiwan, there have published many memoirs and diaries about the CPC History and the Chinese Modern and Contemporary History, it has played a useful role on enriching the historical resources and promoting the research. At the same time, some contents of those memoirs and diaries without a rigorous textual criticism, were wrongly informed by modern communication technologies. It also had damage to the study of the CPC History and the Chinese Modern and Contemporary History, so it is necessary to be rigorous to treat those memoirs and diaries published in Hong Kong and Taiwan. On the historical value of those memoirs and diaries published in Hong Kong and Taiwan, the authors were the historical figures of important events, most of the content is their own personal experience; there are many authors of the KMT and out of the CPC's staff who for some reasons, and their special experience can provide another perspective on interpretation of the CPC's history; because it has historical value, so we shouldn't to deny it completely for their hostile attitude towards the Communist Party of China; although some memoirs and diaries have published in mainland, but there are still many have not introduced, and become Hong Kong and Taiwan's unique historical resources. These factors make those memoirs and diaries were often cited in the relevant research papers and monographs, and played a key role on some important historical facts' expound and prove. On the issue of the Communist Party of China's foundation, a lot of memoirs published in Hong Kong and Taiwan are considered the Communist Party of China entirely a product of "transplant" by Soviet Russia, and it's not the result of self-development of the Chinese revolution, there is also some disagreement regarding when the Communist Party of China's establishment. On the First Kuomintang-Communist cooperation, for the Communist Party of China divided the "leftist" and "rightist" policy in the KMT, and activities of politics within the KMT, KMT figures'memoirs published in Hong Kong and Taiwan offer many historical details and their reaction, that provides a more subtle experience to understand the rupture of the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation. Mostly Previous studies of the Xi'an Incident focused on the interpretation of the Communist Party of China, Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng, while Chen Gongbo, Kong Xiangxi's memoirs and diaries published in Hong Kong and Taiwan recorded the Kuomintang's reaction and response after the Xi'an Incident; a lot of people of KMT believed that the Xi'an Incident was CPC's "conspiracy", also attributed the peaceful settlement of the Xi'an Incident to the Communist International or Zhang's "repentance". About the Yan'an Rectification, those memoirs and diaries proposed rectification is not directed against Stalin and the Communist International, the target is not Wang Ming at first, Mao Zedong launched the Yan'an Rectification is to compete for power, the rectification is carried out at different levels and so on.Those memoirs and diaries published in Hong Kong and Taiwan have had a considerable impact both on historical resources and historical views. On historical resources, there are both the more widely introduced and deletion; on historian views, there are both promoting the research of CPC history and being wrongly informed without a rigorous textual criticism. Of course, there are also shortcoming on those memoirs, such as facts wrong, strong personal subjective, wrong values and positions and so on. Faced with the growing number of memoirs and diaries published in Hong Kong and Taiwan, we should adopt an open attitude, academic rigor to research and realistic attitude to use them.
