A Study Of Ethnic Interaction And Exchange In Daily Life

Since ancient times,Qinghai has been in the intersection of the Confucian and Taoist cultures of the Central Plains,the Buddhist culture of Tibet,the Islamic culture of the Western region and the shaman culture of the Northern grasslands,and a history of the Qinghai region is the history of the continuous exchanges and intermingling of various ethnic groups in Qinghai,as well as the history of the integration and expansion of the Chinese national community as a self-contained entity in the process of joint development of Qinghai by the ancestors of various ethnic groups.As the capital city of Qinghai Province,Xining is also the political,economic,cultural and transportation center of Qinghai Province,and there are many ethnic groups living in the city,including Han,Tibetan,Hui,Mongolian,Salar and Tu.The selection of Xining as a typical multi-ethnic city as a field site can more intuitively reflect the current situation of interactions and intermingling of ethnic groups in the context of multiculturalism.From the perspective of cultural connotation,we understand the concrete manifestation of the interaction between individuals in daily life from three dimensions: material,institutional,and spiritual,and explore the process of the gradual convergence from diversity to unity among local ethnic groups.The first part of the course is to collect and organize information on the interactions and exchanges among ethnic groups.In the first part,we collect and organize the studies related to the communication and integration of ethnic groups and the forging of Chinese national community consciousness,and also review the studies related to the communication and integration of ethnic groups in Xining,so as to provide theoretical support for the field research and proposed countermeasures.The second part compares and contrasts the customs and habits among the various ethnic groups in Xining through the distribution of the various ethnic groups in Xining,and the details of daily life interactions,and makes a longitudinal and horizontal study of the relationship among the various ethnic groups.The third part analyzes the results of the survey and explains the process of realizing the sense of community of the Chinese nation from the micro level.The last part provides insights into the current situation of communication and integration among ethnic groups,and interprets the problems that exist in the communication and integration of ethnic groups,so as to provide ideas and references for the cultivation of a strong sense of community among the Chinese people and the realization of ethnic integration.The study is based on the actual situation of the research,and discusses the current situation of ethnic communication and integration in Xining from the aspects of economic life,living condition,food culture,costume culture,festival system,marriage system,language communication,education concept,literature and art,etc.Three research methods,including literature collection,comparative analysis and in-depth interview,are used to provide a solid basis for this study.First,all ethnic groups have been influenced by Chinese culture for a long time.Secondly,there are frequent interactions among various ethnic groups,and there are communication between Hui,Tibetan,Salar,Han and other minority groups.Third,in the context of cultural pluralism,all ethnic groups have formed a community of destiny of "you have me,I have you" in their daily life.The people of all ethnic groups,through exchanges and blends,have a deep understanding of each other,tolerate and respect each other’s cultural customs,and at the same time absorb and learn from each other,self-innovation,constantly reform their own ethnic customs and habits that do not adapt to the development of the times,strengthening inter-ethnic communication and contact.Through the case study of this local area of Xining City,it is hoped that we can provide theoretical and empirical basis on how to build harmonious ethnic relations in multi-ethnic areas and how to achieve larger-and broader-scope,broader-and deeper-level exchanges,exchanges and blending in a small way and in the context of forging a solid sense of the Chinese national community.It provides some more meaningful references for adhering to the correct path of solving ethnic problems with Chinese characteristics,promoting ethnic exchanges,exchanges and blending,forging a solid sense of the Chinese national community,and building a common spiritual home for all ethnic groups.At present,Xining City,Qinghai Province,has achieved a series of positive results in ethnic exchanges,exchanges and blending,which not only strengthens the identity and sharing of Chinese culture by compatriots of all ethnic groups,but also promotes the harmonious development of ethnic relations and local economy,integrates social forces,and prepares prerequisites for forging a solid sense of the Chinese national community.
