The CPC’s Exploration Of The Whole Process Of People’s Democracy In The Yan’an Period

As a historical witness and the first generation of leadership core of the CPC,Mao Zedong once commented that the Yan’an period was an indispensable stage in the history of the CPC,"without it,the CPC cannot fall".The whole process of people’s democracy is a new concept put forward by the CPC in the new era,but it is not suddenly generated.Its theoretical and practical exploration runs through the whole process of the CPC leading China’s revolution,construction and reform.During the Yan’an period,the Party conducted important explorations on how to promote democracy and achieved tremendous practical results.In fact,it has already possessed the basic characteristics of the entire process of people’s democracy,effectively promoting the development of the Chinese revolution and safeguarding the fundamental interests of the people,becoming a shining example in the history of Chinese democratic development.Following the historical trajectory,reviewing and sorting out the Party’s historical exploration of the entire process of people’s democracy during the Yan’an period,summarizing experience,has important implications for the Party’s leadership of the people to continue developing the entire process of people’s democracy in the new era.This article refers to the CPC’s exploration of the whole process of people’s democracy in the Yan’an period,which mainly means the party’s exploration of the "whole process","all-round" and other aspects of people’s democracy in the Yan’an period,that is,the exploration of the basic characteristics of the whole process of people’s democracy.This article is mainly divided into six parts.The first part is an introduction,mainly based on the analysis and evaluation of existing research results,clarifying the research ideas,key and difficult points,and research methods of the article,and defining the core concepts.The first chapter systematically analyzes the historical background of the Party leading the people to explore the entire process of people’s democracy during the Yan’an period.During the Agrarian Revolutionary War,the relevant exploration of the CPC not only provided important experience,but also left valuable lessons such as not taking root in China’s reality and not straightening out the relationship between the party and the government.The second chapter studies the theoretical origin of the Party’s leading people’s exploration of the whole process of people’s democracy in the Yan’an period,expounds the guiding role of the democratic ideas of Marxist classical writers,including Marx,Engels,Lenin,etc.,analyzes the traditional cultural genes of the Party’s relevant exploration in this period,and points out that the relevant exploration of the CPC is the reference and transcendence of Sun Yat sen’s thought of civil rights.The third chapter sorts out the exploration content of the Party on the entire process of people’s democracy during the Yan’an period.In summary,during this period,the Party mainly promoted the exploration of people’s democracy from the aspects of "people-oriented","all-round",and "entire process" of democracy.The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China ensures the "people’s character" of the democratic regime in the base areas by improving the construction of the unified leadership system of the Party,constructing various levels of consultative meetings,and proposing the principle of "three three systems";Strengthen people’s political participation in political,economic,cultural and other fields,and ensure the democratic rights and interests of the people in the base areas in an all-round manner;Promoting the exploration of democratic election and consultation systems,democratic decision-making methods,democratic management models,and democratic supervision mechanisms in base areas has preliminarily constructed a complete democratic participation chain,ensuring the "entire process" of people’s democracy.Through these practical explorations,the base areas and Jiefang District during the Yan’an period highlighted the obvious characteristics of people’s democracy in the whole process.The fourth chapter summarizes the main characteristics and historical value of the Party’s exploration of promoting people’s democracy throughout the entire process during the Yan’an period.During this period,the Party has always adhered to the combination of Marxist Leninist democratic theory with China’s specific reality,adhered to the principle of democratic centralism,attached great importance to leading the construction of people’s democracy with intra party democracy,and ensured people’s democratic rights and interests.It has played an extremely important role in fulfilling the Party’s historical mission and promoting the construction of base areas.Chapter 5,based on the previous research and the historical perspective of the new era,explores the contemporary inspiration of the Party’s promotion and exploration of the entire process of people’s democracy during the Yan’an period,mainly including: it is necessary to fully promote intra party democracy to lead the development of people’s democracy;We must adhere to promoting the institutionalization and legalization of people’s democracy throughout the entire process;We must adhere to the united front led by the CPC;We must deeply promote economic development and social change.In general,the Party’s practice of promoting the whole process of people’s democracy during the Yan’an period was successful.History can always enlighten and enlighten people.Compared with the Yan’an period,although the domestic and international environment faced by the New Era Party is relatively stable,it still faces many risks and challenges.Promoting the whole process of people’s democracy still requires us to learn from history and draw nutrition from past experience.
