Study On The Mobilization Of Women In The Taihang Anti-Japanese Base Area Of The Communist Party Of China

Mao Zedong pointed out at the opening ceremony of the Chinese Women’s University,"China’s war of resistance would not have won if half of the women had not awakened." It clearly pointed out that we should pay attention to the potential power of women,and only by organizing them can their associated spouses,children,relatives and friends be widely mobilized to a greater extent.Women in the vast area of Shanxi have been at the bottom of the society for a long time.Under the long-term ideological bondage and oppression,not only indifferent to self-consciousness,the revolutionary concept is out of the question.After the outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japanese aggression,life became more difficult.After the Anti-Japanese War,based on the instructions of the spirit of the Luochuan Conference and the important position of Shanxi in the Anti-Japanese War in North China,the129 th Division of the Eighth Route Army went deep into the Taihang area to establish the anti-Japanese base area behind the enemy lines.In order to fully mobilize the potential power of women,a variety of ways were used to mobilize the vast majority of women.By mobilizing women to join the army and take part in the war,they ensured the supply of materials at the front,expanded the number of soldiers and increased the strength of the Anti-Japanese War,and aroused the patriotic enthusiasm of women;By encouragingwomen to participate in politics and training women cadres,women’s political consciousness has been improved and a number of high-quality cadres have been brought upfor better leadership of the women’s movement;Through the mobilization of women to participate in agricultural production and textile movement,the majority of women realized that only production could overcome the famine,they could control the economic discourse power in thefamily,and provided the material basis for the development and expansion of the basearea;Through the popularization of education,the number of illiterates greatly reduced,i mproved the ideological consciousness of women,for women to join the war of resistance to r emove ideological obstacles;By advocating the freedom of marriage and no foot-binding mov ement,the feudal ethical code gradually reduced the shackles on women’s mind and body,pro moted the liberation of women,so that they can better participate in the war of resistance.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,women’s sense of ownership,nat ional feelings and political consciousness were widely aroused,and their "half the sky" power was fully mobilized,which not only supported the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,but also provided a reference for the better development of women’s work today.
