Research On The Path Of Ethnic Rural Tourism To Strengthen The Consciousness Of The Chinese National Community From The Field Perspective

Strengthening the awareness of the Chinese national community is the main line of the Party and the country’s ethnic work in the new era,and is the "outline" of all ethnic work.The core of building a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation is to strengthen the Chinese cultural identity.The common and differential characteristics of Chinese culture are objective existence.The correct handling of the relationship between the commonality and differences of Chinese culture is an important issue that needs to be taken seriously in ethnic work.At the Central Ethnic Work Conference in 2021,it was pointed out that "ethnic work should be improved in the direction of enhancing commonality" and that "enhancing commonality,respecting and tolerating differences are important principles of ethnic work".Ethnic tourism promotes the comprehensive development of social economy in ethnic areas and provides an important platform for ethnic exchanges.It is an effective way to strengthen the awareness of the Chinese national community,and an important way to achieve Chinese modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.But ethnic tourism has always emphasized the differences and particularities of ethnic cultures.There is a hidden tension between the emphasis on differences in ethnic tourism and the emphasis on enhancing commonality in ethnic work.How to strengthen the Chinese cultural identity and build a strong sense of the Chinese national community in the ethnic tourism environment full of tension is worth studying.On the basis of the existing research,the paper is based on field research,and comprehensively uses research methods such as participatory observation and individual interview.Through observation and interviews,understand the activities,cognition,emotional attitudes,and strategic actions taken by various actors in the tourism space of Xijiang Miao Village towards Chinese culture and the Chinese nation.At the same time,using Bourdieu’s field theory and concepts such as "capital","habits",and "strategy" as the entry point,an analytical framework is formed based on the field theory to study how to strengthen the sense of Chinese national community in the tourism field of Xijiang Miao Village.The paper consists of three parts: introduction,main text,and conclusion.The introduction section mainly discusses the research value,significance,overview,research ideas,research theories,and research methods of the selected topic.The main body consists of five chapters.Firstly,the formation of the Xijiang Miao Village tourism field.Sort out the tourism resources and development process of Xijiang Miao Village,in order to explore how the objective structure of Xijiang Miao Village’s tourism field is generated.Secondly,the analysis of the tourism field elements of Xijiang Miao Village.Clarify the actors and types of capital owned within the Xijiang Miao Village tourism field,and analyze the dynamic structure of the Xijiang Miao Village tourism field.Once again,the action logic of the actors.Analyze the strategic orientations adopted by actors around the community of the Chinese nation and tourism development driven by habit.Finally,solidify the generative nature,problems,and paths of the Chinese national community consciousness.Clarify the logical correlation and driving mechanism between various actors and the consciousness of the Chinese national community.Analyze the issues that constrain its development.Attempt to construct a path based on the development of tourism in Xijiang Miao Village to strengthen the awareness of the Chinese national community.The conclusion section suggests that firstly,political actors deconstruct and reconstruct the individual’s understanding of national culture and Chinese culture through cultural infiltration methods such as policies,cultural propaganda,and cultural atmosphere creation,and melt and internalize it into the physical and mental structure,strengthening it as a habit of the Chinese nation,and making it "customary".Secondly,villagers spontaneously and actively learn the national language in the process of participating in tourism to obtain economic wealth.After accumulating material wealth,consciously celebrate the traditional culture of the Chinese nation.In this process,the pursuit of economic benefits drives behavioral consciousness,economic capital promotes cultural consciousness,and villagers spontaneously enter the Chinese cultural symbol system.Become the owner and practitioner of the Chinese cultural system,and then solidify the sense of Chinese national community in this cultural system.Finally,tourists reorganize their cultural habits and cognition while experiencing traditional ethnic culture.Respect and tolerate the culture and history of all ethnic groups.It is important to have a deeper understanding of the Chinese nation’s "pluralistic integration pattern" and the particularity and identity of Chinese culture,so as to avoid Han chauvinism and local nationalism.Sincerely tolerate and respect other ethnic cultures.Defend the interests of the Chinese nation and safeguard national unity.
