Study On The Practice Of China’s Policy Of Supporting Ethnic Minorities With Small Population In Dulongjiang Region

General Secretary Xi Jinping at the 2021 Central Ethnic Work Conference,it was pointed out that "taking the cultivation of the consciousness of the Chinese national community as the main line,orderly promoting the pace of modernization in ethnic areas,and promoting all ethnic groups to jointly move towards socialist modernization." From this discussion,General Secretary Xi Jinping also pointed out that we need to comprehensively deepen reform,improve differentiated regional support policies,promote the common progress of all ethnic groups towards socialist modernization,and enhance the sense of Chinese national community.In other words,differentiated regional support policies are an important policy foundation for promoting the consolidation,revitalization,and enrichment of border ethnic areas.This article selects the Dulong ethnic group as the research object and focuses on the analysis of the practical process of national support policies,aiming to provide theoretical thinking for the development of ethnic groups with small populations in the border areas." In other words,differentiated regional support policies are an important policy foundation for promoting border consolidation,rejuvenating,and enriching the people in border ethnic areas.This article selects the Dulong ethnic group as the research object and focuses on the analysis of the practical process of national support policies,aiming to provide theoretical thinking for the development of ethnic groups with small populations in the border areas.Based on a field survey in Dulongjiang Township,Gongshan County,Yunnan Province,this study mainly discusses the following issues: First,why should China formulate policies to support ethnic minorities with small populations? This study believes that there are three reasons: first,based on the guidance of Marxist theories of ethnic equality and development;The second is the original intention and mission of the CPC to seek happiness for all ethnic groups,and the third is the need of social development in the border areas to enable the people to move towards modernization.Secondly,how is the policy of supporting ethnic minorities with small populations implemented? This article believes that the main reason is that the national policy of supporting ethnic minorities with small populations has promoted the reproduction of rural economic,political,cultural,social,ecological and other spaces in border areas.The main content of this article is a deep description of the "Five in One" reproduction.Third,why do national policies work? This article draws three conclusions:first,the thrust of state presence,second,the resultant force of social co construction,and third,the driving force of popular participation.This article mainly uses in-depth interviews and participatory observation methods from field surveys to systematically describe the practical process of the national policy of supporting ethnic minorities with small populations in Dulong River;Using the interdisciplinary approach of Marxist ethnic theory,policy,and spatial reproduction theory,this paper deeply analyzes the policy process of supporting the Dulong ethnic group.This study believes that implementing differentiated regional policies to help ethnic groups with small populations in the border areas accelerate the pace of development is of great significance for comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society,promoting the common prosperity and development of all ethnic groups,maintaining border stability,and forging a strong sense of Chinese national community.
