Study On The Construction Of Rural Grass-roots Party Organization During The Land Reform And Party Rectification In The Eight Old Areas Of The Shanxi-Suiyuan

As the old liberated areas,the revolutionary base areas in Shanxi are in the forefront of the land reform movement in the whole country.The Shanxi-Suiyuan revolutionary base area was the area that carried out the land reform earlier,and it was also the area where the mistake of “left” learning was relatively serious in the process of Shanxi’s land reform.Studying the situation of the party in land reform and rectification in this revolutionary base area is conducive to better analyzing the work and construction of rural grassroots party organizations in the process of land reform and rectification,so as to understand the historical significance of the construction of rural grassroots party organizations in the period of land reform and rectification to the smooth progress of land reform and the completion of the tasks of the new democratic revolution,deeply understand the historical reasons for strengthening the party’s leadership,and provide reference for the construction of rural grassroots party organizations from the perspective of rural revitalization.During the Anti-Japanese War,Shanxi formed several relatively complete anti-Japanese base areas,which became one of the earliest liberated areas formed during the Liberation War,and the Jin-Sui Revolutionary Base Area was one of the main pilot projects of land reform,so it is of great value to select the grass-roots party organizations based on the revolutionary base of the old areas of the Jin-Sui-8 Sub-district as the research object.After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,the grassroots party organizations and the vast number of party members in the Jinsui-8th Sub-district carried out a land reform movement in accordance with the instructions of the Party Central Committee,making significant contributions to the liberation war in Shanxi.In the process of reorganizing the Party in the land reform,the rural grassroots Party organizations not only have the power to distribute the fruits of the land reform and control the village funds,but also are the important implemutors of the superior policies.Their purity and execution force directly affect whether the land reform can be successfully completed.The Party is the leader of the land reform movement,and the successful completion of the land reform work has confirmed the Party’s leading position.The Party rectification and land reform are interwoven.However,under the special historical conditions at that time,the lack of adjustment of central policies and practices,the low level of education of Party cadres in rural areas,less influence of Marxist ideas,complex components,and the intricacy of rural gentry,clan forces and other factors have affected the leadership of the grassroots Party organizations in land reform work,and the rural grassroots Party organizations have produced undesirable styles such as coercive orders,corruption and corruption.When dealing with the relationship between the Party and the masses,the Party went to the extreme of tailism,and even proposed to establish the "leadership of the poor and farmworkers".As a result,the public function and status of some grass-roots Party organizations were weakened and restricted,and some Party members and cadres were wrongly punished,which made the land reform and Party rectification movement into a state of confusion.Although there were deviations in the land reform and Party rectification movement,the Party insists on seeking truth from facts,quickly formulated adjustment strategies and measures,constantly improving its own strength and playing its role as a powerful leadership core.As a result of the Party consolidation campaign,the building of grassroots Party organizations in rural areas has been strengthened,the problems of impure thinking,organization,and style within the Party have been properly addressed,and the Party’s leadership,organizational strength,and cohesion have been greatly improved.The land reform movement has also been carried out smoothly,which has not only satisfied the Chinese peasants’ desire for thousands of years to "have land for the tiller",but also strengthened the relationship between the party and the masses and consolidated the party’s prestige in the hearts of the people.
