On The Inadequacy And Perfection Of Our Criminal Reward System

In recent years,as an important means to maintain social security,criminal reward system has been widely used to crack down on crimes.The criminal reward system can not only broaden the source channels of information obtained by the public security organs,deter and attack the criminal forces,but also greatly mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of the masses to fight against crimes.By studying the criminal reward system,it is found that there are some problems in the criminal reward system,such as unreasonable provisions on the scope of the issuer and the recipient of the criminal reward,omission of provisions on the scope of application of the criminal reward,unsound provisions on the criminal reward money and lack of supporting measures,which are not conducive to the function of the criminal reward system.In the face of the drawbacks of the criminal reward system in China,it is urgent to specify it in detail,which can be started from the following aspects: Firstly,in order to regulate the range of criminal reward publishers and recipients,the range of criminal reward publishers and recipients can be strictly restricted in practice;Secondly,in order to stipulate the scope of application of criminal reward,the case standard of criminal reward can be clearly applied and the criminal reward can be defined as the final means to solve a case;Thirdly,in order to improve the relevant provisions of criminal reward money,the determination method and distribution principle of criminal reward money can be stipulated;Fourthly,in order to set up the supporting safeguard measures of criminal reward,we can strengthen the protection of the basic information of criminal reward informants and establish a nationwide criminal reward reporting platform.
