Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Cultural Confidence From The Perspective Of Cultural Identity

Culture is the spiritual bond that unites the people of a country,and a unique identity that distinguishes a nation from other nations.Cultural confidence is the high recognition of the national culture by the cultural subject,the full affirmation of the national cultural value and the firm belief in the bright future of cultural development.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the party and the country have attached great importance to cultural construction,and national leaders have repeatedly mentioned cultural confidence in important speeches,pointing out that strengthening cultural confidence is an important spiritual force for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and a solid foundation for the construction of a culturally powerful country.As an important force in socialist cultural construction,college students shoulder the historical mission of cultural heritage,innovation and development.Fostering college students’ cultural confidence can not only improve their awareness of national culture,but also enable them to be active in cultural exchanges and become conscious disseminators and innovators of cultural confidence.Continuously strengthening the cultural identity of college students and cultivating their cultural confidence will help college students consciously grow into builders and successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This article uses the method of literature research and systematic analysis,based on the Marxist cultural view,the thoughts of the leaders of the Communist Party of China on cultural construction,Xi Jinping’s new era of cultural construction,and higher education carrying out the thought of cultivating new talents in the times,and objectively reveals the cultural identity is the foundation of cultural confidence,and cultural confidence is the deep development of cultural identity.The two are closely linked and organically unified.The connotation and characteristics of cultural confidence are expounded in detail,and it is combined with the cultural cognition and behavior characteristics of college students.Entering the new era,with the enhancement of the international discourse power,the in-depth promotion of the cultivation and practice of socialist core values,and the continuous enhancement of the self-improvement and development awareness of college students,the cultivation of cultural self-confidence has ushered in a good development opportunity.At the same time,there are deficiencies in enhancing the awareness of Chinese culture,identifying many foreign trends of thought,and practicing cultural confidence.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reasons for the lack of cultural self-confidence cultivation of college students,from the four aspects of society,colleges and universities,families and college students themselves,to discuss and propose countermeasures and paths for college students’ cultural confidence cultivation.
