Research On The Shift Of The Party’s Women’s Work Focus In Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Area During The Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War

Since its founding,the Communist Party of China has incorporated women’s liberation into its own goal.Even in the anti-Japanese base areas behind enemy lines in Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia,where living conditions were extremely difficult during the comprehensive Anti-Japanese War,the Communist Party of China continued to carry out women’s work and promote women’s liberation.During this period,the focus of the Party’s women’s work experienced a shift from the rights movement to the production movement.The border area government has also issued and implemented relevant laws and regulations to facilitate the smooth shift of the center of gravity.Through the overall study of the shift of the focus of the Party’s women’s work in this special period,the experience and lessons of the Party’s women’s work in this period of history are explored and summarized,which has important reference value and enlightenment significance for the continuation of the women’s liberation cause led by the Party at present.First of all,the literature and historical materials of women’s work done by the Communist Party of China in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area were sorted out and summarized to form a literature review.Secondly,it expounds the background of the shift of the focus of the Party’s women’s work during the period of the comprehensive Anti-Japanese War.By summarizing the Party’s women’s work in the border areas in the early period of the comprehensive Anti-Japanese War,it points out where the focus of the Party’s women’s work fell in the early period of the comprehensive Anti-Japanese War,and then clarifies the cause of the shift of the focus of the women’s work,and specifically reveals the stage evolution process of the shift of the focus of the war.The concept of the Party’s women’s work in the early period of the Anti-Japanese War was inherited from the May Fourth Period,and the focus was on the promotion of women’s rights,especially women’s freedom of marriage.However,some mistakes were made in the concrete practice,which resulted in the women’s work not achieving the expected good results.Based on the stagnation of women’s work,the practical need of the whole nation to support the Anti-Japanese War and the theory that participation in social labor is the prerequisite for women’s liberation,the focus of the Party’s women’s work shifted to mobilizing women to participate in social production.There are three stages in the process of this shift,namely,the first stage of focusing on research,the second stage of shifting the focus of women’s work policy and the third stage of shifting the focus of women’s work concept.The third is the effect of this shift of focus in three aspects: women made great contributions to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,maintained social harmony and stability in the border areas,and promoted women’s liberation.Finally,it summarizes the experience and lessons and expounds the enlightenment of the women’s work practice carried out by the Party in the border areas during the Anti-Japanese War to the women’s liberation cause led by the Communist Party of China.
