Research On The Improvement Of Prison Affairs Disclosure System In China

The degree of openness of prison affairs is related to the degree of transparency of prison work,the degree of human rights protection for offenders and the degree of realization of citizens’ right to information and supervision.Since 2001,after more than 20 years of development,the openness of prison services has made considerable progress in terms of internal disclosure,and the openness of prison services for offenders and the openness of prison information for the supervision offices in prisons have been improved to varying degrees.The initial formation of an effective system of internal public disclosure system.However,it is undeniable that there are still a series of problems in China’s prison openness,especially in the public-oriented openness of such issues as: the narrow scope of public content biased toward laws,regulations or normative documents do not involve the actual content of prison work,a single mode of disclosure,public procedures are not standardized,the effect of objections and complaints is not ideal,the lack of supervision means.In order to achieve the standardization and institutionalization of prison openness,and truly play the role of prison openness,it is necessary to further improve the ideological understanding,improve the system of prison openness norms,establish a complete set of supporting legal mechanisms,and steadily promote the work of prison openness.Based on this,this paper analyzes the relationship between prison openness and government information openness,analyzes the current development of public-oriented prison openness,proposes to raise the level of prison openness legislation,establish a more reasonable supporting mechanism for prison openness,expand the content of prison openness,ensure timeliness through standardized openness procedures,and strengthen the dialogue with the public through the Internet medium,in order to provide reference for the improvement of China’s prison openness system.In order to provide reference for the improvement of China’s prison open system,so as to promote the scientific and healthy development of China’s prison open work.
