Research On The Communication Of The Image Of The Communist Party Of China During Wartime

The 1930 s and 1940 s were an important period for the rapid development of the Communist Party of China,which laid a solid foundation for the realization of national governance.During this period,the CPC was able to gradually move from local governance to national governance.The main reason was not only the enhancement of its own strength,such as the enhancement of military forces,the expansion of party members and the expansion of base areas,but also the improvement of its image in the public.In order to promote the realization of the party’s program and goals,it is essential for a political party to establish an image in line with its own needs among the public.Examining this period of history from the perspective of the image of a political party,it may be possible to explore from another dimension how the Communist Party of China accomplished the Phoenix Nirvana-like change in the tumultuous years.This paper examines the historical process of the party image of the Communist Party of China during the war period.As the first party newspaper published by the Communist Party of China in the territory under the control of Chinese Nationalist Party,Xinhua Daily has played a pivotal role in the process of spreading the party image.To this end,this paper takes Xinhua Daily as a case,through the analysis of typical examples,to study the party image of the Communist Party of China during the war.The image of a political party is not invariable,and with the passage of time and the change of objective situation,the image also needs to be adjusted accordingly.This paper describes the process of the image communication of the Communist Party of China in wartime by stages.Based on the staging of the newspaper’s historical stages by Xiong Fu,editor-in-chief of Xinhua Daily,Taking the southern Anhui Incident and the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan as the key time turning point of the party image dissemination of Xinhua Daily,it is divided into three stages,and discussed with three key words: resistance,unity and democracy.Chapter 1 Introduction starts from the research problems of this paper,explains the selection of Xinhua Daily as the basis of the case,identify the theoretical perspective,research methodology and significance of this paper,and reviews and summarizes the existing research results in this field,Finally,the main framework of this paper is briefly introduced.The second chapter analyses the necessity and urgency of the establishment of Xinhua Daily from the perspective of the dilemma of the party image communication of the Communist Party of China.The third chapter mainly analyzes that under the background of the national Anti-Japanese War,Xinhua Daily also joined the tide of the AntiJapanese War to publicize and practice the “anti-Japanese United front” by mourning the martyrs of “Xin Sheng Long” and donating funds to the frontline soldiers in charity sale,showing the image of the Communist Party of China as a political party that adheres to the Anti-Japanese War.The fourth chapter focuses on the activities and practices of Xinhua Daily in the complex situation after the southern Anhui Incident.By carrying out birthday celebration activities and signature campaigns,Xinhua Daily sets up the two flags of Guo Moruo and the Soviet Red Army,and leads the general public to unite under the banner of the political demands and political ideals of the Communist Party of China.The study in Chapter 5 analyzes that under the new situation after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,the CPC needs to fight for dominance in the public opinion arena,using Mao Zedong’s image as a leader and the column "Social Service" as a window for spreading the image of democracy,shouting out the people’s voice while further expanding the spread of the CPC’s image.The conclusion part of the thesis is a summary of the whole historical process.During its establishment,Xinhua Daily truly practiced the mission of a Marxist party newspaper advancing with The Times.Mobilize in a way that combines “static” with “dynamic”,connects extensive readers with close ties,exercises newspaper staff with strong Party spirit,and closely links the political appeal of the Communist Party of China with the future and destiny of the country and nation,as well as the interests and needs of the people.In the struggle process of pursuing independence,unity and democracy,the image of the Communist Party of China propagated by Xinhua Daily is not a simple image of a political party,but an ideal image of a political party that mixes the political ideals of the Communists,the national aspirations of the Chinese nation and the deep expectations of the general public.
