| Ideological security,as an integral part of the national security system,is closely connected with other security fields and has become increasingly prominent in its role and significance in social development.At present,the challenges in the ideological field have become more overt,acute,and confrontational.As an important force in the construction of socialist modernization,grassroots public officials are responsible for managing national and public affairs,and their ideological security directly affects the ruling capability of the Communist Party and the government’s management level.It also relates to the fundamental interests of the people and the development effectiveness of various national economic and social undertakings.Therefore,strengthening the ideological security education of grassroots public officials has become an issue that must be addressed in reinforcing the national security system and promoting the modernization of the national governance system.In studying the ideological security education of grassroots public officials,it is essential to clarify its starting point and endpoint,analyze the connotations and characteristics of grassroots public officials,as well as the content and significance of their ideological security education.This serves as an important foundation for conducting this research.The starting point of this paper is to analyze and assess the current situation of grassroots public officials’ awareness of ideological security and the problems existing in ideological security education through questionnaires,systematic analysis,and individual interviews.The endpoint is to propose strategies and pathways to strengthen the ideological security education of grassroots public officials based on the research findings,thereby enhancing the effectiveness of education.The aim is to further expand the scope and subjects of ideological security research in China,firmly adhere to the mainstream ideology of socialism with Chinese characteristics guided by Marxism,and promote the improvement of grassroots public officials’ ideological and political qualities.Establishing correct values,continuously enhancing political immunity,resisting adverse ideological influences,and providing strong spiritual motivation for better building the party and the country,and enable to further drive the majority of people to improve their identification with the mainstream ideology of society as a whole. |
