The Research On The Enhancement Of The Educational Capacity Of The Party Branch Of The Postgraduates In Colleges And Universities

Today’s world is in a major change unprecedented in a century,graduate students are high-level innovative talents,but also the key group in the ideological field,the profound changes in the international and domestic situation have put forward higher requirements for the postgraduate party branch.The postgraduate party branch,as an important organization for college education,should also undertake the basic task of fostering virtue through education,improve the ability of postgraduate party branches to educate people keeping pace with the times,and nurture a new generation of capable young people with sound moral grounding,intellectual ability,physical vigor,aesthetic sensibility,and work skills who will fully develop socialism and carry forward the socialist cause.The paper combines the characteristics of graduate students,the law of ideological and political education process and the specific responsibilities of the party branch of university students,to explore the educational ability of the party branch of graduate students and the countermeasures to improve it,aiming at effectively improving the quality of ideological and political work of graduate students,ensuring that intellectual support and talent support are provided for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.The study mainly uses the documentary method,interview method and summary empirical method to sort out and summarize the theoretical achievements and practical experience of strengthening and improving the ideological and political work of graduate students.After defining the concept of educating people,the study analyzes the duties of postgraduate party branches in educating people from the perspective of ideological and political education.And then,the connotation of the ability of postgraduate party branches to educate people is determined as three levels,which are respectively ideological leadership ability,academic guidance ability and command organization ability.After that,the study expounds the meanings of improving the ability of postgraduate party branches to educate people from three aspects: the enhancement of the vitality of grassroots party organizations in colleges and universities,the improvement of the quality of graduate students’ ideological and political work,and the implementation of the fundamental task of “fostering virtue”.This study analyzes the current situation of the ability of postgraduate party branches in colleges and universities to educate people according to the research materials of universities and content of interviews,and believes that the insufficient ability of postgraduate party branches to educate people is mainly manifested in insufficient ability of thought leadership,insufficient ability of academic guidance,and weak ability to lead organizations.The main reasons are that the understanding of the ability of postgraduates party branches in colleges and universities is not comprehensive,there are still shortcomings in the construction of postgraduates party branches,and the design of the party building work system for graduate students in colleges and universities is not perfect.In view of these reasons,this study puts forward three basic countermeasures to improve the ability of postgraduate party branches to educate people,namely,deeply understanding the importance of the ability of postgraduate party branches in colleges and universities,improving the construction of postgraduate party branches centered on educating people,and establishing and improving the working mechanism of graduate party building.
