A Study On The Legal System Of Long-term Care In Taiwan Region

Long-term care is a comprehensive service measure that provides long-term disabled persons with life-based care and medical care as supplement.Since the 1980s,the Taiwan area of China has gradually established a long-term care system.In 2017,a special bill in the field of long-term care,the "Long-Term Care Service Law" came into effect.The mainland region is also currently piloting a long-term care insurance system.In view of the fact that both sides of the Taiwan Straits have the same roots,studying the development and system construction of the long-term care system in Taiwan region has implications for the mainland region,which is also facing an aging population and a gradually increasing number of disabled people.This article studies the system of long-term care in Taiwan region and its significance to the mainland region.The thesis consists of four chapters:The first chapter mainly studies the development background and development process of long-term care legal system in Taiwan region.The second chapter studies the theoretical basis of long-term care and the main content of the "Long-term Care Service Law" in Taiwan region,and then analyzes various legal relationships involved in the "Long-Term Care Service Law".The third chapter analyzes the shortcomings of the long-term care of the legal system in Taiwan region,the causes of the shortcomings and the suggestions for improvement.The four chapter studies the needs and development status of long-term care in mainland region,and then analyzes the shortcomings,and puts forward some suggestions based on the experience of Taiwan region.This article believes that the current long-term care legal system in Taiwan region is still in a state of preliminary integration,and the qualitative nature of long-term care and the development of long-term care service contracts require further consideration.On the basis of perfecting the social security legal system,the mainland region should treat long-term care as a social insurance system,which is listed in the "Social Insurance Law" alongside basic medical insurance.
