The Effect Of Social Class On Problem Gambling

In recent years,sports lottery has shown a rapid development trend.As of February 2021,my country’s sports lottery has raised a total of 573.305 billion yuan in public welfare funds,which has made significant contributions to the development of my country’s poverty alleviation,student assistance,and elderly care,and has become my country’s modern An important part of the development of the sports industry.However,while my country’s sports lottery is prospering and developing rapidly,it has also caused some negative effects,such as problematic lottery purchases.Problem betting will not only cause bad family problems and social relations for individuals,but also cause illegal and criminal activities in serious circumstances,causing serious harm to the country and society.The study found that social class is closely related to problematic lottery purchases.Compared with high-class groups,low-income and low-educated sports lottery players purchase lotteries more frequently,and the increase in problematic lottery levels is also related to unmarried,low-level occupations,and higher levels of sports lottery.The stress of life is closely related to the negative coping ability.Research on problem gambling has found that social support from family and friends will reduce the risk of problem gambling among teenagers to a certain extent.Will the social class of sports lottery affect the problematic lottery purchase?Does social support work between the two?This research aims to discuss the above issues and provide references for intervention strategies to reduce the risk of problematic lottery shopping in my country.Based on this,the literature data method,questionnaire survey and other methods were used to study 526 sports lottery players in Wuhan,to explore the social class of sports lottery players,to understand the relationship between social support and problematic lottery purchases.The results are as follows:(1)The problem of sports lottery betting is at a medium-risk level;the subjective social class perceived by sports lottery players is at a low-medium level,and the score of friend support is significantly higher than that of family support and other support.(2)Comprehend that the differences in age and marital status in social support reached a significant level;among them,young sports lottery players received the highest level of family support and friend support;unmarried lottery players received friend support And family support is the highest.(3)Family support plays an intermediary role in the objective social class in the problematic lottery purchase,that is,the objective class level of sports lottery players can directly affect the problematic lottery level of sports lottery players,and can also indirectly affect the problematic lottery level of sports lottery players through family support;friends;Support plays an intermediary role in the impact of objective social class on problematic lottery purchases,that is,the objective class level of sports lottery players can directly affect sports lottery problematic lottery purchases,and can also indirectly affect sports lottery problematic lottery purchases through the support of friends.The above mechanism suggests that the establishment of a multi-participation prevention system for problem lottery players can improve the level of family support and friend support of sports lottery players,while promoting social class mobility to reduce the occurrence of problematic lottery behaviors in my country.
