| MA Candidate: Xu Yanghua Advisor: Wang QiHow to improve the quality of English teaching has always been a hot issue in the educational circles.The latest national English curriculum standard for compulsory education requires the in-depth combination of information technology and teaching.Through the combination with information technology,solutions to and optimization schemes for the problems existing in the traditional education are put forward.Among them,the construction of smart classroom has been put on the reform agenda.The smart classroom uses advanced information technology to make the connection between teachers and students closer,knowledge expansion more convenient and educational resources more abundant.However,at present,the construction of smart classroom is still in the development stage,and there are many problems that demand prompt solution.This paper focuses on the phenomenon of insufficient interaction between teachers and students in smart classroom.The author will research three questions in the study:(1)What are the main problems in teacher-student interaction in current junior high school English classes?(2)How can the advantages of teacher-student interaction in smart classroom be fully exploited in junior middle school English teaching?(3)What are the results of the application of teacher-student interaction strategies in smart classroom in junior middle school English listening and speaking teaching?This study takes English listening and speaking class in junior high school as an example,and selects three classes of Grade 7 in a middle school in Jiangxi Province as the research object and their English listening and speaking classes based on the smart classroom are chosen for action research by using the textbook published by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press.Referring to a large number of relevant theoretical documents,this paper puts forward teacher-student interaction strategies in English listening and speaking class in junior high school.It adopts the action research method to carry out two rounds of action research,finds problems and puts forward improvement strategies through the three steps of "planningimplementation-reflection".Combined with questionnaires and interviews,this paper offers three teaching strategies to promote junior middle school English interactive teaching with the support of smart classroom,hoping to provide reference for the reform of smart classroom teaching in the future.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the research background of this paper and the significance of the study,and puts forward the main research problems and research content.The second chapter mainly introduces the relevant definitions and the theoretical basis of the measures proposed in this paper,so as to lay the basis for the following sections.The third chapter makes a survey of the classes studied in this paper in the form of questionnaire,and analyzes various problems existing in teacher-student interaction in English listening and speaking class,so as to provide the basis for the following teaching improvement strategies.The fourth chapter puts forward teacher-student interactive teaching strategies according to the research questions.The fifth chapter carries out two rounds of action research.According to the teaching strategies in chapter four,the author starts the first round of research,and makes questionnaire research and interview analysis on the effect of practice.Based on the result,the author improves the program and starts the second round of research.Then the author makes questionnaire survey and interview analysis on its effect.Finally,through two rounds of action research,the conclusion is drawn: giving full play to the technical advantages of smart classroom and using intelligent tools to innovate teaching methods;respecting students with the “student-oriented” teaching mode and stimulating students’ independent learning potential and cooperation ability;paying attention to the multi-dimensional optimization evaluation of intelligent talent training,these three strategies effectively promote the teacher-student interaction in English listening and speaking class in junior high school and greatly improve classroom efficiency and students’ English learning. |
