The 21stcentury has witnessed the transformation of basic education into the era of competency and literacy and the increasing emphasis on the development of the core literacy of students.And since then,how to develop and improve the core literacy of students has been one of the most trending issues.To fully implement the Party’s educational plan,researchers make all efforts to find a more effective way to develop and improve students’competencies and literacy.A learning plan,a purposeful collection of student work that exhibits a students’effort,progress,achievements,and competencies gained during a course or time in schools,came into being at the backdrop of educational revolution.The learning plan refers to a changing profile designed from teachers’expectations of what students should learn to help students learn how to learn.It not only focuses on the learning results of students,but also their learning process,acting as one of the most effective ways to improve students’learning capabilities and competencies.This study aims to explore the advantages of learning plans and design the learning plan of promoting students’capabilities of physics and developing students’s discipline key competencies of physics.This study reviews the current scholarship of learning plans and the theoretical framework of designing learning plans,states the meaning and significance of learning plans,clarifies the concept and components of discipline key competencies in physics,and summarizes the principles and methods of designing the learning plan of the discipline key competencies in physics.Under the guidance of standards for the curriculum and key competencies,it also determines the learning objectives and assessment tasks and learning progress,which help complete the three topics of the“Newton’s Laws of Motion Unit”required to learn at class.As to the design of the learning plan,constructivist learning theory,nearest developmental zone theory,deep learning theory,and information processing theory have been employed to help combine teachers’teaching activities with students’learning activities,to make use of assessment tasks to examine the learning results,in order to make sure of unifying teaching,learning and evaluating.In combination with the research results of discipline key competencies in physics of Guo Yuying and Luo Ying,I finished the case design of the learning plan and put it into practice in the courses of physics of Grade one of high school in the three stages:pre-class,at-class and after-class.Three ways of response have been employed to test the effectiveness of the learning plan,including the improved Flanders classroom interactive system to analyze the classroom,the students’test,and the interviews with the lecturers.On the basis of both design and practice of the learning plan of discipline key competencies in physics,this research comes to several conclusions.First,the learning plan helps students learn by themselves.It not only helps improve teachers’ways of teaching,but also transform students’ways of learning from passive to active.Second,the learning plan puts its emphasis on unifying teaching and learning,making teachers shift their ways of teaching from teaching knowledge to teaching knowledge that students can learn.The third point,the learning plan focuses on students’key competencies of subjects.It pays attention to the process of how students achieve their learning goals and offers opportunities for students to find and solve questions,thus improving students’competencies of thinking and practicing and elevating their discipline key competencies.Learning plans help students study and think positively and actively,improve their quality of thinking,and develop their discipline key competencies in physics.Moreover,learning plans help teachers comprehensively prepare for lessons,thus promoting their quality and expertise of teaching.
