Research On The Interactive Mechanism Of College Students’ Intimate Relationship In Media Society

The development of media technology has profoundly changed the way of human existence and the form of interpersonal communication.As the beneficiaries and acculturator of the development of media technology,college students’ media interaction carries most of the interpersonal connection and construction of College Students’ daily life,including the most important intimate relationship.The media gives multiple choices to intimate interaction,so that the space for college students to convey emotion,express love and show intimacy can be extended.The interpersonal interaction of intimate relationship has completely different interaction modes and characteristics.Under the background of media society,this paper takes the media-based intimate relationship interaction behavior of college students as the main research object and content.Through the research methods of in-depth interview and participatory observation,this paper discusses how this group can actively carry out media-based interaction to establish and maintain intimate relationship,and how to creatively construct the media-based intimate relationship interaction mechanism.The study found that the media interaction reshaped the communication mode and interaction rules of College Students’ intimate relationship,and the media relationship interaction mechanism showed new characteristics,including real-time dialogue,limited publicity,communication initiative and identity mobility.At the same time,college students use online social tools and love recording tools to show timely response,identify their identity,show their relationship and conduct personalized intimate interaction through media symbols such as lovers’ avatars,nicknames and remarks,and construct a relationship interaction mechanism with the help of multiple media.The interaction mechanism of intimate relationship also presents different media behaviors in the establishment and development of relationship.In the stage of relationship establishment,media interaction can obtain information clues and improve the efficiency and effect of relationship establishment;In the maintenance and promotion stage,intimate interaction further strengthens emotional perception and establishes more high-frequency and stable communication and sharing to promote intimacy.College students also show love through idealized presentation and moderate display of intimate relationship.In the face of emotional conflict and jealousy,the change of communication mode also leads to new media coping behaviors,including media neglect and media monitoring.At the end of the relationship,College students should also eliminate the traces of digital love.The remembrance of past emotions may lead to secret media tracking behavior,officially dissolve the relationship in adapting to emotional trauma and realize self-renewal.On the whole,the interactive mechanism of media has brought double influence to the love communication in real life.On the one hand,media interaction is an important supplement and extension of College Students’ love communication.On the other hand,the interaction of intimate relationship depends more on the media,resulting in superficial and formal interactive behavior,which is easy to cause emotional problems and damage the intimate relationship.Media based intimate relationship interaction also brings dual thinking.At the level of time and space,media based relationship interaction can achieve virtual coexistence;At the level of physics and psychology,physical interaction can liberate psychology and provide short-term freedom;At the material and spiritual level,the contact and use of media meet the emotional and spiritual needs of both sides.Therefore,any change of interpersonal interaction mode and communication form must have its specific social and cultural background.Only by treating the media interaction rationally can we better establish and maintain valuable intimate relations.
