Flower ball cheerleading is a handheld flower ball combined with cheerleading basic hand position,dance skills and other action elements,to show the spirit of teamwork sports projects.The music of flower ball cheerleading is dynamic,energetic and youthful,which is deeply loved by students and is widely carried out in the campus.Through cheerleading learning and training,the students not only acquired new skills,but also improved their physical quality.This paper uses the literature method,expert interview method,experimental method,mathematical statistics method and other research methods,analyzes the theories related to cheerleading teaching,and explains the influence of cheerleading teaching on the physical quality of children aged 7-8.The study draws the following conclusions:(1)The characteristics of flower ball cheerleading are:simple and easy to master,and passionate;highlighting the spirit of enterprising and tenacious struggle;the unity and cooperation of performance organization;and outstanding performance technology style.The principles of flower ball cheerleading teaching for children aged 7-8 include:safety principle,intuitive principle,reasonable load principle and step by step principle.(2)There are significant differences between the students in the experimental class and the control class in the strength quality(1 minute sit-up,sandbag throwing,standing long jump),indicating that the flower ball cheerleading teaching can significantly improve the children’s strength quality.Students in the experimental class in the flower ball cheerleading teaching:sit-up,supine legs lifting,1 minute fast rope skipping,frog jumping and other exercises,these exercises have a good role in promoting students’ waist and abdomen strength and lower limb strength;Basic hand position practice and hand position control training also increase the students’ upper limb strength to a certain extent.(3)There was no significant difference between the students in the experimental class(50 meters running).A semester of basketball cheerleading teaching,due to the limited course time,and students without targeted speed quality practice,the effect on improving students’ speed quality is not obvious.(4)There is no obvious difference between the students of the experimental class and the control class in the sensitive quality(4x10 meters reentry run).In the teaching process of cheerleading teaching,there is no special training to improve sensitivity,but also due to the impact of the best development age of children’s sensitive quality,cheerleading teaching is not obvious to improve the effect of students’ sensitive quality.(5)There are significant differences in the endurance quality of the experimental class(5 minutes endurance running),which shows that the teaching of flower ball cheerleading can effectively improve the endurance quality of children aged 7-8.Regular flower ball cheerleading training can improve the students’ maximum oxygen intake level,thus effectively improving the endurance quality.(6)The students in the experimental class and the control class have highly significant differences in flexibility quality(the anteversion of the sitting position),which shows that the flower ball cheerleading teaching has a very obvious role in promoting the students’flexibility quality.Since children aged 7-8 are the best stage to develop flexibility quality,in the teaching of flower ball cheerleading,a lot of quality exercises and stretching exercises can improve the body flexibility,which effectively improve the flexibility quality of students.
