Research On The Basic Experience And Enlightenment Of College Students’ Patriotism Education Since The 18th CPC National Congress In 2012

Since the 18 th CPC National Congress in 2012,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to patriotism education and always regarded college students as the focus of patriotic education and universities as the main front of patriotic education.The top-level design of patriotic education for college students has been strengthened,the educational content and methods has become plentiful.So,the patriotism education of college students has achieved remarkable results.General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly praised that the young people care about their family and country,and the Chinese youth of the new era can be entrusted with great missions.Based on this,this paper wants to explore why to carry out the patriotism education of college students,the main achievements,the existing problems and their reasons,and try to summarize the basic experience,so as to provide useful enlightenment for the present.The paper mainly consists of four parts:The first part is the introduction,which lays the research foundation for the full text.The second part analyzes why the patriotism education of college students is carried out.The importance of patriotic education for college students includes that patriotism education is an important part of Marxist classic writers cultivating youth and a fine tradition of the Communist Party of China in educating young people to be patriotic,it builds a spiritual barrier for college students to resist the impact of Western ideology.The necessity of patriotic education for college students includes the inevitable choice of condensing the fighting force,the implementation of the essential requirements of morality and cultivating people,the inherent requirement of cultivating newcomers.The third part explores the main achievements and shortage of college students’ patriotism education since the 18 th CPC National Congress,and analyzes the reasons for the shortage.The fourth part summarizes and extracts the basic experience with universal regularity in the specific practices of patriotism education for college students: the overall leadership of the party is the political guarantee of patriotism education for college students,and taking students as the center is the firm position of patriotism education for college students.Team building is the key guarantee for college students’ patriotism education,keeping pace with the times is the fundamental requirement of college students’ patriotism education,and a comprehensive system is the main starting point for college students’ patriotism education.Based on the current situation,the patriotism education of college students should explore the direction and measures that should be adhered to carry forward the advantages of patriotic education for college students from five aspects.Young college students are the backbone of realizing the Chinese Dream.We must do a good job in patriotic education to bury the seeds of loving China in the depths of their hearts,and guide college students to find the foundation of life.Try to explore the main achievements of the specific educational practice of patriotism education for college students since the 18 th CPC National Congress and the general basic experience behind it,hoping to provide useful inspiration for the cultivation of newcomers in the era.
