Modern society presents the characteristics of knowledge explosion and information explosion.The people trained by future education must be able to creatively apply knowledge to solve problems.There is no doubt that this must be based on a deep understanding of knowledge,effective transfer,in fact,this coincides with the concept of deep learning.In recent years,deep learning has attracted more and more attention from all walks of life,especially in the field of teaching.How to promote students’ deep learning has become one of the current research hotspots.At present,the traditional teaching mode of biology classroom is still dominant,students’ participation in the classroom is low,and the knowledge system of biology is complicated and fragmentary,so students are easy to fall into passive learning and shallow learning in biology classroom.The 5E teaching model is a new teaching model based on constructivism.Different studies have proved that 5E teaching has significant effects on improving students’ interest in biology learning,developing students’ critical thinking,cultivating students’ innovation ability and enhancing their core literacy in biology.The embodiment of students’ deep learning ability is also related to active learning,constructive understanding and creative application.Therefore,5E teaching and deep learning have the same orientation in some aspects.Therefore,this study proposes to use 5E teaching mode to promote deep learning of middle school students’ biology classroom.First,this study applies literature analysis method to define the concept of deep learning,this paper expounds the main characteristics of deep learning,introduces what is 5 e teaching model and 5 e the connotation of teaching mode,from the theoretical analysis based on the 5e of biology classroom teaching can promote students deep reason,lay a theoretical foundation for the research of practice.In reference to predecessors on the basis of deep study,this study designed the deep high school biology classroom learning questionnaire and collect the relevant data of questionnaire investigation and study,in order to understand the current level of high school biology classroom deep study of the status quo,the survey found that students in biology class in traditional deep overall level is low,remains to be improved.Further analysis found that the result of the questionnaire: bad learning habits and methods,students with less investment and their own inertia impedes deep classroom learning levels,biology teacher’s teaching methods,teaching ideas and information literacy ability will also affect students’ classroom deep level,the school of various objective conditions for the deep study of class level has indirect effect.This study summarizes three application strategies of 5E teaching model to promote students’ deep learning in class,including teaching preparation stage,5E classroom teaching stage and after-class summary stage.The teaching preparation stage includes the following strategies: select the teaching content according to the textbook,combine different teaching methods,fully understand the students,achieve learning to promote teaching and so on;The teaching strategies included in the 5E class stage are mainly some suggestions for each stage of the 5E teaching mode.The after-class summary stage includes two strategies: teachers should pay attention to after-class reflection and continuously enhance professional quality.These strategies were applied to a biology teaching practice in a middle school in Hefei for three months.Before and after paired T test was conducted on the data of the deep learning questionnaire before and after 5E teaching practice.It was found that the score values of the experimental class in the dimensions of learning interest,learning motivation,understanding construction,independent learning and cooperation and communication were significantly improved,with significant differences(P < 0.05).Therefore,it is concluded that 5E teaching mode can promote students’ deep learning level in biology class.
