| In 2017,the Horizon report identified blended learning design as a fundamental competency that people should have today and one of six key trends in higher education.In the context of the current era,blended teaching has been paid more and more attention by all types of educators at all levels,and promoting learners’ deep learning is also the top priority in the field of education research.Through reviewing the literature,it is found that most of the research on the combination of deep learning and blended teaching is applied to the field of higher education,and the application in the field of basic education is ignored.Therefore,this study attempts to construct a blended teaching model of high school biology that can promote learners’ deep learning,and tests its effectiveness.The results of the study showed that:In this study,the questionnaire survey method and interview survey method were used to investigate the current situation of blended teaching mode and deep learning,and the results showed that students’ deep learning level in high school biology classroom teaching was low,which was mainly manifested in three aspects: students’ poor ability to apply knowledge in problem situations,insufficient internal drive to learn,and poor cooperation and expression ability.Teachers do not teach deep learning well in high school biology classrooms,and have not applied the blended teaching model;Teachers and students are willing to try the hybrid teaching model that promotes deep learning,and they have accumulated some experience in the online teaching process during the epidemic,which makes the hybrid teaching model that promotes deep learning feasible.Based on the above survey results,this study establishes the principles of blended teaching to promote deep learning,and builds a teaching model based on this.The teaching mode is divided into six stages,namely,obtaining relevant knowledge background,activating learning motivation and knowledge background,acquiring new knowledge,establishing the connection between new and old knowledge,carrying out knowledge transfer,multiple evaluation,self-reflection,and case development based on the teaching mode,applying the developed teaching cases to the classroom,implementing teaching practices,and providing reference for front-line biology teachers.The experimental results show that the teaching mode can significantly improve students’ ability to master core knowledge,solve complex problems,teamwork ability,effective communication ability,tenacious learning belief,reflection ability,and ability to multi-point structure level,association structure level,abstract expansion structure level,and then improve students’ deep learning level,which confirms that the hybrid teaching mode promoting deep learning is reasonable.Effective.In summary,the hybrid teaching model constructed in this study can promote students’ deep learning and is a feasible and effective teaching mode.It is hoped that this study will attract more front-line educators to join the research and development of blended teaching mode,so as to further improve the effectiveness of high school biology classroom teaching and promote students’ deep learning. |
