Ideology is a kind of sense of things,is a series of concepts,ideas,concepts,ideas,values and other factors,a society that commonly exist different types of ideology,but only a kind of ideology can be a mainstream ideology,is reflects the ruling class interests and ideology is accepted by the public.The mainstream ideology is an important force to shape social members’ ideas and lead social development.Consolidating the status and authority of the mainstream ideology is the key to maintaining the long-term stability of the country.The ideology in the current social environment presents a complicated situation,and the diversity of the Internet makes it widely favored by college students.College students have become one of the most active groups in the current Internet,and the complicated ideas are more likely to exert a subtle influence on college students.Colleges and universities are the forefront of the ideological work of the Party and the country,and college students are the pillars and hopes of the country in the future.To strengthen the education of the mainstream ideology of college students is of great significance for cultivating excellent talents with all-round development,realizing the strategic task of building a modern powerful country and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Based on the previous studies of ideology education has,on the basis of results,on the basis of marxism,guided by the spirit of his series of important speeches on the ideological work of education and publicity, it is based on the requirements of the Party and the country for ideological work and the current development of ideological education in colleges and universities.This paper first expounds the concepts and characteristics related to the Internet and mainstream ideological education to lay a solid theoretical foundation for further analysis.Secondly,it summarizes the overall status quo of mainstream ideological education in colleges and universities under the background of the Internet,summarizes the achievements achieved,analyzes the problems existing in the Internet era,and makes a certain analysis of the causes of the problems.Thirdly,it analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by mainstream ideological education in colleges and universities under the background of Internet.On the one hand,the Internet has enriched the content and means of education,enhanced the attractiveness and influence of education,and expanded the concept of education.On the other hand,the Internet has impacted the right to speak of educators,increased the difficulty of resisting the hegemony of western discourse,had a negative impact on college students’ ideas and had an impact on the "gatekeeper" model.Finally,based on the solution of the problem,through extensive review of the literature,from increasing literacy education team,refining the education content and improve the channels of the Internet education and innovation education way four aspects put forward countermeasures,from the overall understanding and grasp of the mainstream ideology education of colleges and universities education idea and the practice path,combined with the actual put forward the optimization tactics of the mainstream ideology education of colleges and universities,We will promote the organic integration of mainstream ideological education with the Internet.
