| Today,with the rapid development of information technology,computational thinking is regarded as the "new accomplishment of the 21 st century" and is one of the key abilities that students must possess in the 21 st century [1].Information age of primary school children is very hard to have a good ability of thinking,but computational thinking and our work is closely related to life,if the use of computational thinking way of thinking,life would have been a lot of complex problems,divided by a primary and secondary order,and the complex is divided into a specific work,can have the effect of get twice the result with half the effort,Improve productivity and happiness in life.At present,there are several ways to cultivate computational thinking ability: gamification teaching,graphics modular programming teaching and algorithm and program design teaching.Primary school students are in a period of active thinking,thinking and learning more rely on concrete thinking,educational games is a very good carrier,to integrate computational thinking into educational games,which extends a new direction for the cultivation of computational thinking ability.In the design of computational thinking educational games,the goal of cultivating students’ computational thinking ability can be basically realized by integrating the relevant algorithm knowledge with the link of guiding students to actively explore and discover problems and solve problems in the situation.This study through reading a large number of relevant literature,and on the basis of the analysis and review the "computing thinking","education","computational thinking education game" and "Unity3D" and so on research present situation,the study found that the study of education games are in full swing at home and abroad,emerged a lot of different disciplines and the education of cultivating the ability of the game,But at the same time,it is found that most educational games based on Unity 3D focus on the teaching of subjects such as history,biology,science,etc.Educational games aiming at the cultivation of computational thinking ability are currently in a blank state,which is worth further study.Through the analysis and reference of the cases of computational thinking education games at home and abroad,the design ideas of the knowledge points and game scenes of computational thinking education games are summarized.The game uses Unity3 D technology to design and develop the computational thinking education game "The Salvation of Otter Homeland".The game combines the algorithm knowledge with the training of computational thinking ability,and integrates the abstract algorithm knowledge into the game situation of constantly exploring and solving problems.The virtual reality effect of Unity3 D technology is utilized.It makes learners feel the effect of bravely running the heavy maze,and combines knowledge base and answer design to form an educational game that organically integrates the training of computational thinking ability.The author carries on the test,the operation and the experiment to the education game,carries on the analysis from the calculation thinking test question before and after the knowledge achievement,the thinking quality questionnaire and the learner experience the game satisfaction questionnaire result and so on the Angle.It is found that before and after using educational games,students’ computational thinking knowledge scores and thinking quality scores are tested by paired sample T test.The results showed that the P value of pre-test paired with post-test was 0.000***,It was significant in level,indicating that there were significant differences between pretest pairs and posteriorly.The range of difference of Cohen’s D value is more than 1.5,and the range of difference is very large.It shows that the computational thinking education game "The Rescue of Otter Home" can effectively improve students’ computational thinking ability.It is feasible to improve students’ computational thinking ability through educational games,and it can further enhance students’ enthusiasm in cultivating computational thinking.This provides suggestions for the design and development of educational games based on Unity 3D to promote learners’ computational thinking ability. |
