Research On Social Work Intervention In Community Elderly Volunteer Service Training

With the intensification of our country’s population aging,how to solve the problem of old-age care has been actively explored both theoretically and practically.Among the many pension schemes,community pension has been widely recognized for its outstanding advantages.In the community pension,the mutual assistance model for the elderly represented by the "time bank" model has spawned a large number of volunteer groups for elderly care services.This group is enthusiastic and dedicated,but is limited by the lack of volunteer services for the elderly,and the overall level of community elderly care is not high.Therefore,the subject of capacity training for community pension volunteers came into being.Because the concept of helping people in social work is highly compatible with volunteers,and at the same time,it can provide solutions for the ability training of community elderly service volunteers with its professional helping methods.Therefore,the main content of this study is to intervene in the field of community elderly care service volunteer training through professional social work methods,so as to improve the ability of community elderly care volunteers,and then contribute to the improvement of community elderly care service quality.The H Community in Donghu District,Nanchang City is at the forefront of the province in the field of community pension volunteer services.It is of typical and exemplary significance to conduct research and analysis on the H community and conduct practical interventions.Based on the perspective of social work and with the help of social work research methods,this paper conducts research before project intervention to understand the current situation of elderly care services in H community,and obtains the training needs of elderly volunteers in H community through questionnaires and interviews.According to the needs of volunteers,the social work professional theories such as active aging and the perspective of advantages are used,and the group work method is used to intervene in the training of community elderly service volunteers.A total of six group activities were designed in the training project,which corresponded to the improvement of six abilities of elderly volunteers in H community,including the ability to use electronic equipment,elderly service skills,communication skills,spiritual comfort skills,nursing and health care skills,and emergency handling skills.Afterwards,it evaluates the intervention process and intervention effect,reflects and summarizes,and puts forward some constructive suggestions for social work intervention in community elderly volunteer service training.Through this research,it is hoped that the field of social work intervention volunteer training can be broadened,the theoretical and practical problems faced in social work intervention community elderly care volunteer training can be deeply discussed,and the practice of social work intervention community elderly care volunteer training can be provided for reference.
