Under the background of the new round of basic education curriculum reform,the promulgation of the biology curriculum standard of senior high school(2017 Edition)and the management system of "one standard and multiple versions of textbooks",in order to better use,understand and master the characteristics of the current textbooks for biology teachers and educational researchers,this thesis makes a comparative study of the biology textbook "Molecules and Cells" published by People’s Education Press and Jiangsu Education Press.This research mainly adopts the documentary study,comparative study and content analysis,and makes a comparative analysis from the compiling structure and knowledge system of "Molecules and cells" published by People’s Education Press and Jiangsu Education Press,it focuses on the analysis of the cover design,writing format,presentation,column setting and the composition and characteristics of the knowledge system of the textbook.The results show that the catalogue of "Molecules and Cells" textbook published by People’s Education Press is combined with pictures and texts,which directly presents the core content of the textbook;more physical illustrations are used to show real biological cells and functions as much as possible;both section exercises and chapter exercises have various types of questions,including a large number of multiple choice questions and a large number of non-multiple choice questions,in order to test students’ core qualities in life concept,scientific thinking and other aspects;however,there are many columns,and some of them have overlapping functions.The catalogue of "Molecules and Cells" textbook published by Jiangsu Education Press is presented in the form of text,and the titles are highlighted,which is helpful for students to grasp the major concepts and core concepts of each chapter;more pattern diagrams are used to make complex life process concise,fuzzy content clear,abstract content concrete;the teaching material exercises are mainly non-multiple choice questions,which focus on the exercises in the textbook are mainly non-multiple choice questions,focusing on the students’ divergent thinking and comprehensive application ability,while the examination of the students’ big concept,basic concept and other content needs to be increased.The compiling experts of the two editions can well understand,grasp and carry out the curriculum concept,curriculum goal and the compiling suggestion of the textbook so that make the compiling structure of the textbook is perfect and reasonable.Compared with the curriculum standard,the experts of the two editions have divided and combined the knowledge system properly,from the molecular level to the cellular level,from the intuitive level to the abstract level,step by step,layer by layer,so that the knowledge system of the textbook is strict in logic,rich in content,with their own characteristics,and fully fulfill the requirements of developing students’ biological core literacy.According to the teaching suggestions of the curriculum standard and the characteristics of the two editions of "molecules and cells",the following suggestions are put forward: first-line teachers should be familiar with and master the compiling structure and knowledge system of the textbook as soon as possible in order to improve the quality of classroom teaching;according to the contents of the teaching materials,teachers should make appropriate choices,optimize teaching methods and teaching organization forms,and raise students’ scientific exploration and scientific thinking level;combining with the teaching idea of the curriculum standard,teachers can fully excavate the implied information and the presenting way of the textbook,and promote the comprehensive development of the students’ biology core literacy.This study is expected to provide a possible reference for biology education researchers to further study teaching materials and for front-line teachers to make more efficient use of the textbook,and provide the optimized way and the method to improve student’s biology core literacy.
