Family farming is the dominant agricultural mode in most developed countries in the world.At present,China attaches great importance to agricultural modernization and encourages the development of family farms.In recent years,the quantity and quality of family farms in China have made great progress,but there are still many development bottlenecks and challenges,which are highlighted by the weak risk resistance ability of family farms,the lack of psychological resilience of family farmers,the lack of social support,and the low sustainability of family farms.This study focuses on how to enhance the resilience of family farmers and enhance theability of family farms to risk through social worker intervention.This study taken the family farmer C in D village,L township,Henan Province as the research object.Research methods such as observation method,interview method and scale method were adopted to interview the subject and relevant groups,and the basic situation of the subject was roughly understood.In 2015,with the support of the rural revitalization policy,the client returned to his hometown and started a family farm.Currently,the operating area has reached 400 acres,driving the demonstration planting area of L township to more than1,000 acres,and helping more than 30 poor households out of poverty.As the scale of the business expanded,the client became more and more stressed,resulting in psychological problems.The author used the Connor-Davidson psychological primordial scale to analyze the client’s psychological primordial level,then the results showed that the client’s psychological primordial level was relatively low,among which the scores of emotion control,positive cognition,family support and interpersonal assistance were very low,and there was a large space for improvement.According to the pre-test result,the author helped the client to improve the level of psychological control by empowering the client,improving family relations,building social support networks and linking social resources,so as to promote the sustainable development of family farms.Before the intervention of the case,the author conducted a pre-test of the subject’s psychological primitiveness level,and carried out seven case intervention activities according to the measurement results.In order to verify the effect of intervention,a post-test was conducted at the end of the case,and the results of the two measurements were compared and analyzed.The results showed that,with the help of social workers,the client’s emotional control ability,positive cognition,family support and interpersonal assistance had significantly improved.In addition,the author also carried out intervention process evaluation and intervention effectiveness evaluation,the evaluation results confirmed the effectiveness and feasibility of social work intervention in the improvement of family farmers’ psychological system,which provides practical experience for social work to empower rural revitalization.Finally,according to the problems and shortcomings existing in the process of intervention,the author puts forward a reflection and future outlook,in order to correct in the future work.
