A Study On The Cultivation Path Of Political Identity Of College Students’ Xi Jinping Thought On Socialism With Chinese Characteristics For A New Era

Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is a new leap in the Chineseization of Marxism and an action guide for building a modern socialist country in all aspects and achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It is the valuable experience accumulated by our Party in the course of its century-long struggle to arm the Party and educate the people,especially the college students,with the latest theoretical achievements of the Party.If the youth is prosperous,the country will be prosperous;if the youth is strong,the country will be strong.Standing at the new starting point of the new journey of the second century of struggle,we must firmly grasp the main force of college students who take up the heavy responsibility of rejuvenation of the times,accurately grasp the situation of arming students’ minds with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,study the current situation of college students’ political identity for a new era,build a solid scientific ideological foundation,and help cultivate the pillars of rejuvenation and the pioneers of a strong nation.This paper adheres to Marxist position,viewpoint and method,takes Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide,uses literature research,questionnaire survey and other methods,composes the theoretical origin,important value and main content of the political identity of contemporary college students to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era from the theoretical level,and analyzes the basic status quo and influencing factors of college students’ political identity to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era from the empirical level.And proposes countermeasures and suggestions to effectively enhance college students’ political identification with the latest theoretical achievements of the Party,which is of great reference value and practical significance to the work of promoting this scientific theory into students’ minds for a new era.This paper theoretically composes and summarizes four dimensions of university students’ political identification with Xi Jinping Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,namely,identification with the dual core position of General Secretary Xi Jinping,identification with the core content and historical status of Xi Jinping Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and identification with the "two establishments".Through empirical research,we found that college students generally have firm political identity with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,such as fully recognizing the core position of General Secretary Xi Jinping in the Party Central Committee and the core position of the whole Party,generally agreeing with the core content of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,highly evaluating the historical status of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and supporting "two establishments",etc.However,it is also found that due to the influence of multidimensional and complex subjective and objective factors such as the impact of multiple value orientations and wrong social trends,the less-thanideal effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,the influence of family education environment,and the poor internalization ability of students’ political theories.The students also showed that some of the conclusions were not well understood,some of the contents were not fully understood,some of the expressions were not well understood,and some of the assertions were not accurately grasped.In this regard,practical measures are proposed in four dimensions: creating a healthy and good social atmosphere,enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,optimizing the family guidance environment for ideological enlightenment,and improving the comprehensive quality of college students themselves,so as to effectively promote Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into the ears and minds.
