Research On Social Work Intervention To Improve Adolescent Girls’ Self-efficacy

After entering the new era,with the emphasis on the importance of modern vocational education in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,this kind of youth group in secondary vocational students comes into our vision.In a special period of adolescence,the group is easy to face psychological,behavioral and social difficulties due to the unmet needs of study,life and employment.These factors will lead to the decrease of self-efficacy of adolescents.Among them,girls in vocational schools are more sensitive physically and psychologically.Therefore,how to improve the self-efficacy of young girls in vocational schools has become a problem that cannot be ignored.Based on the field investigation results of G Vocational School in Chang ’an District,Xi ’an city,this study used participatory observation method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to analyze the causes of adolescent girls’ poor self-efficacy.Based on self-efficacy theory,dominant perspective theory and gender theory,this study adopts the social work intervention model combining group work and case work and draws the following conclusions:(1)The mean value of self-efficacy of most group members is close to the standard mean of2.86 in THE GSES scale,and the standard deviation drops from 0.3605 to 0.3288,indicating that the gap of self-efficacy among group members has been reduced.(2)The mean value of self-efficacy of the subjects increased from 2.80 in the group activity post-test to 3.20,reaching the standard mean value.Finally,this paper puts forward suggestions for young girls in G vocational school in terms of their studies,communication and gender,so as to maintain their self-efficacy.In order to ensure the replicability of intervention results,the case was returned to the research topic of social work intervention in improving adolescent girls’ sense of selfefficacy,and the corresponding suggestions were put forward from the perspectives of professional social work,systematic resource link and long-term follow-up.Based on the above research contents,limitations and future research directions of this paper are proposed.Innovation of this article is from two aspects: integrity and individuality of the results of group intervention is analyzed,and the related concepts of gender and the integration of the research object,focuses its service object to the adolescent,this makes the study of adolescent social work will be improved,but also to adolescent girls in a special growth stage of inner sensitive factors into consideration,This will help to prevent and reduce the occurrence of adolescent girls’ social problems,and has important practical significance for adolescent girls’ cognitive remodeling,improvement of communication mode,and construction of reasonable social gender expectations.
