"Cross-Cultural Seminar" is one of the 18 learning task groups proposed in "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020Revision)",which is an "elective course" in terms of curriculum structure.In line with the new standard,this paper study task of teaching design,relying on the platform of school-based curriculum teaching practice and reflection,attempts to summarize the teaching strategy,on line teaching jobs actively participate in curriculum reform,for 18 learning task group of teaching organization from the "spontaneous" to "structured" contribution to their own theoretical thinking and practical experience.In view of the current situation that the learning task group is in the stage of practical exploration and the teaching organization tends to be "spontaneous",this paper discusses the "what is Cross-cultural Seminar",explaining the basic principle is to return to the new curriculum standard to do the "Close Reading " work,accurately and deeply understand the positioning of the Ministry of Education for this learning task group.This paper defines the core concept,expounds the purpose and significance of the learning task group,and introduces the teaching theory basis of the learning task group.To face the challenge that the learning task group of "Cross-cultural Seminar" needs more universal theoretical summary,teaching design was carried out,focusing on the "what to teach" of the learning task group.Based on the in-depth interpretation of the course standard,this chapter designs four thematic courses,including "Bell ringing chime chime,Write great articles together--Comparative reading of Literary Works","Jade of Other Mountains--Selected Readings of Foreign Literary Theories","Self-knowledge in Collision--A Comparison of Chinese and Foreign Cultures(I)","When Mulan Meets MULAN--A Comparison of Chinese and Foreign Cultures(II)".The new curriculum standard explains in detail the theoretical basis and teaching organization path of each seminar,a total of 36 class hours.Relying on the school-based curriculum platform,we carried out teaching practice activities on four topics and collected students’ feedback on course learning.Chapter 3,based on the students’ feedback from the teaching practice of "Cross-cultural Seminar" learning task group,makes a teaching summary and reflection,discusses the teaching strategy of "Cross-cultural symposium" learning task group based on practical analysis,and expounds the "how to teach" problem of the learning task group.Teaching strategies include the development and utilization of curriculum resources,the organization and development of teaching activities,the selection and application of lesson summary and teaching evaluation,etc.
