In recent years,the scale of China’s foreign direct investment has further expanded,and reverse technology spillover not only promotes the technology upgrading of the home country,but also effectively promotes the optimal allocation of factors in the home country.With the flow of factors between the two places,the transnational transfer of knowledge and technology is realized and the transfer of OFDI reverse technology spillover between the host country and the home country is promoted.Employment has been an important issue in China’s social development for a long time.In recent years,the overall employment situation has been relatively stable,but with the emergence of new technologies and new business models,structural problems have become increasingly prominent,and the quality of employment needs to be improved.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the effect of OFDI reverse technology spillover on the optimization of regional employment skill structure in the home country.On the basis of relevant theories,this paper first analysis OFDI reverse technology overflow and the structure of the employability skills development present situation,from two aspects of direct effects and indirect effects of OFDI reverse technology overflow effect mechanism of employability skills structure theory analysis.By constructing SDM model and inverse distance space weight matrix,and using exploratory space analysis method,the global Moran index is calculated to test the spatial correlation of regional economic development as a whole.The local spatial autocorrelation characteristics are investigated by Moran scatter plot,and the applicability of the model is investigated by the residual spatial correlation test of the model.Next,the spatial effect of OFDI reverse technology spillover on employment skill structure was analyzed according to the regression results,and heterogeneity analysis was conducted to compare the differential impact of OFDI reverse spillover on employment skill structure at different development stages.Finally,a mediating effect test model is constructed to test the mediating role of technological progress in the process of OFDI reverse technology spillover affecting employment skill structure.Two methods,namely,changing the representation method of explained variables and changing the spatial weight matrix,are used to re-regression the model to test the robustness of the mediating effect.It is found that the reverse technology spillovers obtained through OFDI in China bring about the adjustment of local and adjacent employment skill structure,and technological progress is the intermediary variable of the impact of OFDI reverse technology spillovers on employment skill structure.Based on the above conclusions,relevant policies and suggestions are put forward to promote the adjustment of China’s employment skill structure by OFDI reverse technology spillover,providing theoretical support for China to build a new development pattern of domestic and international double circulation. |
