Abstract/Summary:
Since December 2019,a novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak has spread around the world,and this sudden outbreak has had a significant impact on the country,society and individuals.At present,the number of disabled people in China has approached 100 million,with a large number of disabled people and various kinds of disabilities.As a vulnerable group,they are more affected than ordinary people,and their problems are more complex.Disabled people are highly dependent on social support,and the perfection of the social support system not only affects the quality of life of disabled people,but also may determine their survival under the epidemic.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the social support of the disabled and intervene to improve the social support system of the disabled.The research questions of this paper are as follows:First,what are the problems of social support for the disabled under the epidemic situation?Second,what are the causes of the social support of the epidemic?Third,how can social work intervene and improve the social support for the disabled?This paper takes social support theory as a theoretical perspective,and holds that because of their physical conditions,people with disabilities often have a lack of understanding of the external environment and lack timely and complete information sources for relevant measures to prevent and control the epidemic.Their ability to assess and avoid risk is also low,and therefore prone to problems such as poor protection and psychological panic.Therefore,in this case,the central government,local government agencies,social organizations,and grassroots communities should all work together to support the disabled people in different ways and ensure their life,health and quality of life.By analyzing the risks of the epidemic and the lack of social support,With the social support services provided by W institution for the disabled during the internship as the entry point,and the disabled group as the research object,Using semi-structured interviews to collect problems with social support for persons with disabilities during the epidemic,It is found that the current social work agencies mainly provide support for the disabled,including emergency assistance,epidemic prevention and control information,home self-care support,emotional support and linked resources,yet,As a whole,Persons with disabilities,whether with their formal or informal support,There are still many problems out there,According to the analysis,The author believes that it is mainly due to the administration of community governance orientation and the atomization of community residents.In order to help people with disabilities improve social support under the epidemic,social work should intervene in a timely manner and play a professional role in the following three aspects:First,to assist grass-roots governments to strengthen their crisis handling capacity.In the field of community management,the transformation of government functions should be promoted by clarifying the functions,streamlining administration and delegating power,and the direct intervention in the process of community management should be changed by highly respecting the community decision-making process.Community organization is the subject of autonomy in the community,which should fully stimulate the motivation of community organization and improve its enthusiasm to participate in community governance.In addition,strengthen the participation of community residents and community governance,improve the enthusiasm of community residents to participate in various community activities.Finally,we should actively cultivate the force of community autonomy,encourage the establishment of non-profit organizations for helping the disabled mainly providing professional services,and promote the long-term health of professional social organizations...
