| The first step in mathematics learning is to read mathematics books.The reading level directly affects students’ understanding and cognition of mathematics,and students’ mathematics ability can’t be developed without mathematics reading.The status and influence of logical reasoning literacy in mathematics learning is self-evident.As one sixth of the core literacy of mathematics,it has a very important impact on the development of students’ mathematical ability.Moreover,the whole process of mathematical axioms,theorems and formulas from generation to development to application is inseparable from logical reasoning.Throughout the domestic literature,there is little research on the relationship between mathematical reading and logical reasoning literacy.In this study,240 senior three students were taken as the research object.Firstly,literature review,concept definition and dimension division were carried out on mathematics reading and logical reasoning literacy by literature review method.Then,the preparation of test paper,pre-test,determination of test time and formal test were carried out.After the test paper was collected,the scores and total scores of each student were counted by Excel software,and then the data were analyzed by SPSS software.This paper analyzes the differences and correlations between mathematics reading and logical reasoning literacy in arts and sciences,gender and dimensions,then makes linear regression analysis on mathematics reading and logical reasoning literacy.At the end of the study,we put forward some strategies to cultivate senior high school students’ logical reasoning literacy from the reality.The conclusions are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in logical reasoning literacy and mathematics reading in Arts and Sciences and gender.(2)There is a positive correlation between mathematical reading,plausible reasoning and deductive reasoning.There is also a positive correlation between logical reasoning literacy and the three dimensions of mathematics reading.(3)Mathematical reading has a strong impact on logical reasoning literacy,and the regression equation between senior high school students’ logical reasoning literacy and mathematics reading test scores is obtained,which can predict logical reasoning literacy through mathematical reading.At the end of the research,we put forward five strategies for cultivating senior high school students’ logical reasoning literacy from reality:(1)Improve students’ mathematics reading level;(2)Step by step,learn induction and reasoning;(3)Draw inferences from one instance and strengthen analogical reasoning;(4)Flexible teaching,using deductive reasoning;(5)Teach students in accordance with their aptitude and promote the all-round development of students. |
