The increase of population mobility is an inevitable outcome of economic development,and the floating population has made a crucial difference to the levels of industrialization and urbanization.In more than 40 years of reform and opening up,the large floating population has injected vitality into urban development,and urbanization has also developed to a certain level.However,the urbanization rate of registered population is still at a relatively low level,and there is still a large room for progress compared with the average level of developed countries.As an important factor affecting population mobility,house prices have blocked the urbanization of the registered population,which is not conducive to the solution of rural problems and the transformation and development of urban economy.Based on this,this paper takes the current situation of the floating population as a starting point to explore the relationship between housing price income ratio and population mobility.On the premise of reference to existing literature,based on the relevant theory of population mobility and the current situation of housing price and long-term residential willingness of floating population,this paper puts forward some hypotheses about the relationship between housing price income ratio and long-term residential willingness of floating population.The data from the China Migrants Dynamic Survey in 2015-2016and the macro characteristics data of major cities in 2015-2016 were used as research samples,and the Logit model and the fixed effects of mixed cross-section data were used for empirical analysis.Furthermore,the heterogeneity analysis of the urban housing price income ratio of the floating population’s long-term residence intention is expounded.Finally,some suggestions are given according to the conclusion of the article.According to the empirical results,the following conclusions are drawn:1.the higher the housing price income ratio is,the more obvious the crowding out effect on the long-term living will of the floating population,and the floating population will be more inclined to make the outflow decision.2.The level of education resources has a positive regulatory effect on the relationship between the housing price income ratio and the floating population’s long-term living willingness.3.The degree of integration of the floating population in the inflow area is inversely proportional to the "crowding out effect" of the floating population’s long-term residence intention.In addition,this study uses the methods of grouping regression and interactive regression to assess the difference in the impact of urban housing price income ratio on the inflow time,skill level and industry type of different floating population.Based on the research results of this paper,the following targeted suggestions are given:First,through the combination of macro and micro policies to regulate house prices,prevent financial bubbles in the real estate market,implement the central policy of "housing not speculation",combat capital speculation,and return housing to the residential property.Second,improve the indemnification housing system of the cities where the floating population resides,and solve the housing problem of the floating population by expanding the housing rental market and providing corresponding subsidized income,so as to reasonably guide the population flow.Third,carry out long-term planning for the urban economy and improve the relevant measures to increase the income of the floating population,improve the industrial planning and layout at the macro level,and improve the vocational training system and the smooth flow of employment information at the micro level.Fourth,deepen the household registration reform,improve the social security system,promote the equalization of urban public services,and ensure that the floating population and their children can enjoy equal access to education,medical care and other infrastructure,so as to improve the long-term willingness of the floating population to live.
