| In today’s era of advocating quality education,mathematical core literacy has undoubtedly become an important indicator of quality education,and the cultivation of students’ six mathematical core literacy is conducive to realizing the unique educational value of quality education.The most basic and popular of the six core mathematical literacy qualities is mathematical operation literacy,but in recent years,students’ mathematical operation literacy is not optimistic.Electronic computing has gradually become the first choice for students to calculate,and the "problem naval warfare technique" has become a magic weapon for students,which has affected the improvement of students’ mathematical operation literacy to a certain extent.Therefore,it is very necessary to conduct an assessment of mathematical literacy for high school students in China.Based on the above background,this paper selects high school students as the research object,takes the trigonometric function content as an example,and adopts the literature research method,content analysis method,investigation research method,statistical analysis method,and work analysis method to evaluate and study the mathematical computing literacy of the high school students.Under the premise of analyzing the connotation of mathematical computing literacy and the existing assessment framework,this paper scientifically constructs a mathematical computing literacy assessment framework focusing on the content of trigonometric functions,adopts the survey method of issuing test papers,and comprehensively evaluates the mathematical computing literacy level of high school students through the combination of qualitative test answer analysis and quantitative data analysis.There are four main research questions:(1)How to construct a framework for the assessment of mathematical literacy of high school students?(2)How to prepare a set of test papers on trigonometric functions that match the evaluation framework?(3)What is the development status of mathematical computing literacy of high school students?(4)What feasible suggestions can be drawn in view of the current situation?The assessment results show that:(1)the average of the students’ mathematical literacy level 1 and level 2 are higher than the minimum score line of the level,while the average of the total score of level 3 is lower than the minimum score line of the level;the students’ scores on the questions at level 1 are relatively stable,and the scores of the questions at level 3 are relatively scattered.(2)The vast majority of students are able to solve mathematical problems in familiar and related mathematical situations,and when the situation becomes comprehensive and complex,only 18.12% of the tested students can reach level three.At the same time,there are still 21.48% of students whose math literacy does not reach level one.(3)The mathematical literacy of students is significantly negatively correlated with the frequency of using calculators or a search software.(4)There are no significant differences between boys and girls in the three levels of mathematical literacy.(5)There are significant differences in the three levels of mathematical operation literacy among liberal arts and science students.(6)The reasons why some students lose points in the four component dimensions of mathematical computing literacy are mainly manifested as: it is difficult to convert the actual problem into a trigonometric function problem in the comprehensive context,and it is difficult to determine the operation object completely and correctly;there is no accurate grasp of the trigonometric function algorithm and its scope;the knowledge of the trigonometric function cannot be well combined with other knowledge points to find a simple operation method to design the operation process;the calculation is not serious,and the writing is not standardized,resulting in the inability to correctly find the operation result.According to the assessment results,the following six training strategies are proposed in this study:(1)Strengthen the connection between real-world situations and computing,and improve the level of computing literacy.(2)Coordinate the development of mathematical operations and logical reasoning,and promote the development of thinking ability.(3)Consciously develop good study habits and think independently to solve problems.(4)Pay attention to the differences in the quality of liberal arts and science students,and adjust teaching to suit their aptitudes.(5)Pay attention to the analysis and explanation of the exercises in the textbooks and improve the mastery of the exercises.(6)Pay attention to the four-component dimension of computational literacy and let the four dimensions develop together. |
